HELP FOR TROUBLED MARRIAGES
Retrouvaille is a Catholic Program for couples with marital problems including those who are considering marriage separation and those who are already separated or divorced that want marriage help. A Retrouvaille weekend is scheduled for June 8-10, 2018. The registration fee is $175. Please visit https://retrouvaille.org for more details

GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MASS Bishop James Johnson will celebrate the Mass at the Cathedral of the Immacu-late Conception on SUNDAY, JUNE 10, at 2:00pm. Each couple will receive a card and a gift. Immediately following the liturgy there will be a dessert re-ception at the Catholic Center at 9th and Baltimore in the Cardinal Baum Room. The event is for the couples whose 50th Anniversary falls between Jan-uary 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018. DEACON ED’S FIRST MASS AT SAINT ROBERT’S Father Ed Wills will celebrate his first mass at St. Robert Bellarmine on June 9 & 10. He will also be hearing confessions on Saturday afternoon. A celebra-tory reception will follow each mass. Fr. Ed will be available to give individu-al priestly blessings during each reception.

VBS HELP VBS Shipwrecked will be June 25-29, 2018 for ages 3 through fifth grade. I will need 2 station leaders to do the Drama Center, 2 Game leaders, 2 movie/music leaders, 1 snack leader, 1 music leader for be-ginning and ending, 1 person to take pictures and put it on a computer to show at the end each day. I also need Crew leaders for each age group: Preschool- K-1 grades, 2-3, grades, 4-5 grades. Please see Su-san or call 229-6168 or email su-
[email protected] The age limit to volunteer is 6th grade to as young as you feel.
FOOD PANTRY NEEDS Thank you so much to all the people who have been donating. It helps so much. Our next food pantry will be on June 6, 2018. Please consider our food pantry as you go shopping each week, just the purchase of a sale item or two will help us tremendously. Thank you for supporting our efforts to help our Community. Please leave your contributions in the vestibule. Some Food items that we could use this month: pears, peaches, carrots, pinto beans, canned tuna, Ketchup, mayo, chili, spam, toothpaste, and jelly.
SINGLES 55 AND UP Our next outing will be to Cool Crest and Gates Barbecue. We will meet on June 19th at 5:30pm. We will golf first and then catch a bite. 9 of us had so much fun Bowling and eating at Responders last month. Come join us for laughs and getting to know new peo-ple. You do not need to be a member of our parish to join us for this. Pass this on to someone you think might enjoy it!

YOUTH MINISTRY NEWS
HIGH SCHOOL/CONFIRMATION CLASS TEEN CONFIRMATION
The date for teen confirmation is Monday, June 4that 7 pm. Stu-dents need to be at the church no later than 5:30 to meet with Bishop Johnston. Rehearsal for confirmation will be the evening before on Sunday June 3rd at 5:30 pm. A celebration dinner will follow the rehearsal.
T he Women's Ministry June 7 Dinner will be held at 6:30pm at Sinclair's Restaurant, 1402 NW Highway 7 in Blue
Springs. Service will be off the menu; the restaurant will provide individual receipts for our members. If you have not already done so, please reserve a spot for this event by emailing Cindy Famuliner at [email protected] or (816-228-9516) or Chris Arens at [email protected].

ATTENTIION GOLFERS: The 12th Annual St. Robert Bellar-mine Charity Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, July 28, at Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Springs. The format will be a 4-person scramble starting at 8:00am. The $95.00 fee includes golf cart and lunch in the clubhouse. This tournament supports The St. Robert Food Pantry which benefits needy people in Eastern Jack-son County. Now is the time to contact your golf partners and down load you registration forms at www.robertbellarmine.org/golf.
M en's Ministry will meet next Saturday, June 2, at 8:00am. We will meet in the parish center starting with a
warm breakfast. Al St. Robert's men are invited.
Saturday Prayer Service -- During the summer months the men from TMIY are doing prayer service Saturday mornings, at 7:00am in the chapel. Afterwards coffee and donuts are availa-ble. Starting June 9, we will be sponsoring a series on "The Bible and the Virgin Mary". The video presentation will last approxi-mately 30 minutes.
