Our primary goal is to raise funds for FUMCOR scholarships that are
given out each year in June. Bidding ends at noon on Sunday, May 28.
Pentecost is June 4On Sunday, June 4, please wear red in celebration of the day of
Pentecost. The color “RED” symbolizes and signifies the presence and
empowerment of the Holy Spirit in our Christian journey of faith.
Almond/Wesleyan CircleThe next Almond/Wesleyan Circle potluck will be hosted by Ann
huntington at her home at 12:00 noon on June 12.

HANDCRAFTERShandcrafters will gather at 10:00 am,
or a little before, on Wednesday May 24
and 31, in the Asbury Room. Come join
the fellowship and see how you can
help out.
CITRUS CIRCLEThis coming Tuesday will be the
regular 4th Tuesday meeting of the
Citrus Circle. it begins at 7:00PM in
the Adult lounge. Patti gardenias
is the evening leader. As always,
newcomers are welcome!
EMBROIDERERSThe biggest sellers at the Bazaar are the
hand embroidered tea-towels. if you are
an embroiderer please join our small
platoon of ladies who make beautiful pic-
tures with needle and thread. The stamped
towels can be signed out on Wednesday
mornings or contact Shirley Parks
(689-3019).

ANNUAL CONFERENCESaturday, June 17, is the date of the
special UMW lunch (noon to 1:30 pm, in
Orton Center) at the CAl-PAC
Annual Conference in Redlands.
Tickets must be purchased through the
conference registration website:

The cost will be $13.75 with a meal card
for the conference and $25 for those who
are not voting members of the conference.

BELL CONCERT: Fellowship of the Ring
The 10th annual bell concert will be held on June 11th at 5:00 pm in the
Fellowship hall. The following groups will be performing:
❍ Allegro Ringers
❍ youth Bells
❍ Percussion Players (with the youth Bells)
Also, The Response will be adding their talent to the event.
The groups will be playing your favorite songs from this past year of
ringing. And, as a special treat, both the youth Bells and Allegro Ringers
will be joining together to play the finale: lord of the Rings. (did you
guess it?)

Ladies Evening OutPlease sign up on the Patio for the “Chick
Flick” and light dinner this Thursday, May 25,
at 5:30 pm in the Adult lounge. We will be
watching “Finding normal” with Candace
