Son, purifies us from
all sin.” 1 John 1:7

Upcoming Events for Youth
Pastor’s Corner As you read this, another
school year is in its final
month. Summer is
approaching much too
fast! It’s amazing how fast
time moves, isn’t it? I can’t
believe it. It seems like
just yesterday we were
having our Christmas
service and before we
turned around, it was
Easter.
Now we are looking at
summer, which will bring
camps, special events, and
our annual Vacation Bible
School.
As we wrap up this
‘season’ of our lives and
prepare for the next, let
us give thanks to God for
the blessings we’ve
experienced. Even in
challenges and struggles,
we have much to be
thankful for.
Pray in the months ahead,
and look for ways to grow
spiritually and to serve
God.
See you Sunday!
-Derik

with sound techs and
projection. I so appreciate
each and every one of you.
I also really appreciate the
hard work done by Pam
Carter and the volunteers
she had ready to lead us in
worship on Good Friday. I
am sorry we did not
experience that service
together, but I look
forward to the ways God
will use those efforts next
year.
Looking forward….Loyalty
Day will be here very soon,
and I would like to invite
former choir members to
join us in the music
presented that day.
Soli Deo Gloria! Glory to God
alone!

I want to begin my notes
with a huge THANK YOU

Thank you RMBC family for all your
love, support, and prayers shown to Bill
and I during his illness. I also want to say
thank you for your visits and the
beautiful flowers. Bill and I were so
close, and I miss him so much. I know he
is in a better place, but I still want to be
able to hold his hand every day. I appre-
ciate your continued prayers.
Blessings and love,
Jo Ann McClure
RMBC Family,
For everything you’ve done, for being
the special people that you are, thank
you so very much.
In love,
Danny & Ann Booker
Thank you for all the prayers and
everything you have done for us. Thanks
for the memorial donations in my
mother’s memory. I feel so blessed to
have a wonderful church family.
Robert & Fran Crowder
Dear Friends,
Thank you for all the many expressions
of sympathy—cards, flowers, food, phone
calls, visits, paper products, and the
donations to the church. A special thanks
to Derik for his visits at home and the
hospital.
Franklin & Nancy Horton, Doug Slusher
(Rhonda’s husband), and Family
Thank you Derik for your visits to
Horace during this treatment time with
his cancer. Thank you for all of your
prayers. It has meant so much to us.
Love in Christ,
Horace & Joanne Knight
Dear RMBC,
Thank you so much for the many
prayers, flowers, visits, and cards during
my recent stay in the hospital. A special
thanks to Dr. Hamby for his prayers and
visits and for the contacts made to my
daughters.
I appreciate my church family so much,
and I thank you for thinking of me
during this time. Your many acts of
kindness really cheered me up and made
me feel so much better.
God bless you all,
Clem Sweet

We are still collecting offerings
for the Gideon’s International,
in memory or honor of our
mothers. If in honor of them,
upon your request, the Gideons
will send a card to your mother
notifying them of your gift. By
donating a Bible, you help to
share the Word of God as they
shared it with you. Please make
all checks out to “Gideon’s
International” and NOT to
RMBC. Our deadline for
collections will be Monday, May
6 at 12pm. On Mother’s Day,
there will be a memory/
recognition sheet in our
bulletins to remember and
honor the offerings to our
mothers. Later, we will
recognize our fathers. More
details will be announced later.
