The Record Keeping Audit Tool is applicable for all care settings, drawing upon the principles contained within the NMC Code of Conduct (2015) and Standards for Person Centred Nursing and Midwifery Record Keeping Practice (2013). The Record Keeping Practice Indicators can be accessed at - www.kpini.org.uk/ The website has instructions on how to use the tool and NIPEC will be hosting an awareness session in each HSC Trust, in the near future.
