Kokopelli Notes President’s Pen I hope everyone enjoyed our “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” Bingo event in April! I wanted to say a special thanks to Theresa Kossler and the spouses of the 56 Mission Support Group for organiz- ing such a fun Bingo social! Those were some fabulous prizes! Our last social of the year is our People’s Choice Awards Scholar- ship Dinner on 17 May from 4:30-6:30pm at Club 56. We will also be announcing our new Board for 2015-2016 as well as giving out some fun little prizes as a result of our quick poll at last month’s so- cial. Keep your eyes peeled for the Evite and be sure to RSVP so can close this social year all together and honor our scholarship recipients! Spouses and guests are welcome! We still have LOTS of Board positions available for the 2015-2016 Board year. I hope to see many new and returning faces to our Board! Please come join me in making another LOSC successful year! A huge thank you to those of you who volunteered for the Fighter Country Partnership Golf tournament which will be held on May 22nd. This is our biggest fundraiser of the entire year and we will need all the help we can get! We still need about 3 more volunteers for the Registration and Breakfast positions. I hope you all will do your best to support this event in any way you can! I sent out our survey on May 1st to all of our members. This is your chance to tell us (anonymously) what you think about the LOSC and how we can make it even better! So, I sincerely ask that you all take the time to complete the online survey! Finally, I just wanted to say thank you. To my fellow Board mem- bers, Advisors and especially to our members; this has been an amaz- ing year for the LOSC and that is entirely due to the love and care that each of us put into our socials, Board positions, philanthropic events and overall participation. The LOSC is a special group that I hope will continue to grow and evolve with the ever changing AF en- vironment. We owe it to ourselves and the excellent tradition of the LOSC to continue serving our Luke Airmen, their families and the surrounding community. I look forward to another great year next year! With sincere thanks, Susie LOSC President MAY 2015

Several family mem-bers joined us to see the Da-Vinci codex notebook, gen-erously bought by Bill Gates for educational display. It was incredible to view close-up the handwriting of such an important historical figure. We also toured the rest of the museum, includ-ing the Andy Warhol exhib-it, the miniature room, and the Southwestern art wing. Thank you to the ladies who came out with their families!POC - Gail Mondul: [email protected]
