4/30/2015 - Washington, D.C. -- On Friday,May 8 and Saturday, May 9, the Airmen ofNote will perform two concerts incommemoration of the 70th Anniversary ofVictory in Europe Day (VE Day). On May 8,1945, the Allied forces accepted Germany'sunconditional surrender, thus ending theSecond World War in Europe after five and ahalf years of devastating fighting. Fittingly, theNote will be donning "pinks and greens"uniforms for the performances and delving into the band's expansive library of Glenn Millerchestnuts to pay proper homage and celebrate "the greatest generation" with trueauthenticity! Friday's one-hour concert begins at 10:30 a.m. on the grounds of the beautifulWWII Memorial at the National Mall. Read more »
Honoring Memorial Day

4/30/2015 - Washington, D.C. --Members offive Band ensembles will participate in eventscommemorating Memorial Day throughout theNational Capital Region. To kick off thecommemorations, The U.S. Air ForceOrchestra will perform at the Kennedy CenterConcert Hall as part of the National MemorialDay Choral Festival on Sunday, May 24 at 3p.m. The program will be co-directed by Col.Larry H. Lang, commander and conductor ofThe U.S. Air Force Band, retired Air Force Colonel Arnald D. Gabriel, the Band's conductoremeritus, and retired Air Force Lt. Col/Dr. Craig Jessop, a former Air Force band conductorand former music director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.Read more »

You can find us at thewest steps of the U.S. Capitol every Tuesdayevening, the National Sylvan Theater (by theWashington Monument) on Wednesdayevenings (except July 1), and the U.S. AirForce Memorial every Friday evening.Additional performances occur at outdoor venues throughout the metropolitan Washington,D.C. area.Read more »
