1. All 2015 Model 2000’s will have (2) door switches for the in-cab lighting. The 2nd switch was added to the passenger side door. 2. All 2015 Model 2000’s will come with LED lighting as standard equipment.
Utility maintenance training seminar July 15th – 16th
Groomer maintenance training seminar July 22th – 23th. These Seminars will be occurring at our factory located at 2872 S. Pacific Hwy. Medford, OR 97501. They will be a two day seminars covering the following:
-Overview of the assembly process -Outline of machine components -Service and maintenance tips -Q & A -Factory Tour
The cost will be $355.00 per person. This includes coffee and doughnuts in the morning and lunch both days. “As the snow season comes to an end remember to inspect your Sno-Cat® vehicle for any repairs or issues that
need to be taken care of before next season. It is always a good idea to make a list so that you have a written rec-
ord either for yourself or whoever will be doing the maintenance. If at all possible get the machine washed off, it
always makes the inspection and any repair or service easier. In addition to the powertrain components, remember
to inspect the door weather striping and threshold (see picture).
Don’t forget the implements including the drag, contact your dealer for inspection
information on different drags.
Sterling also says to consider attending the maintenance seminars, we will cover
information on current and older Sno-Cat® vehicles for both the utility and trail
grooming markets.”

We have several parts left from the gasoline engine days, pictured below is a sampling. These parts most likely fit the Chrysler 318 and 360 Industrial V-8 engines used in the 70’s and 80’s. Meet Aaron Longtain, Aaron has been with Tucker Sno-Cat® since December 2013. He was hired to help in the Detail Department where his duties include taking the painted, but bare cab, and adding all the insulation, wiring, glass, and any special op-tions. He also sets up the engine cover and rear decks, both of these and the cab need to be “ready to install” and delivered to Final Assembly. Aaron’s previous work experience includes framing for new construction and travel-ing the country while working for a refractory (boiler) repair company. He is another Southern Oregon native with family roots going back 150 years. Away from work Aaron enjoys riding dirt bikes, 4-wheeling, hunting and fishing.
Protect your Sno-Cat® from the sun and other elements. If your vehicle can not be stored inside then there are some simple things you can do to protect it. Covering the windshield and any or all of the other win-dows will protect the interior cab. Covering the tracks can be done with a tarp or a specially fitted cover. The next step would be to put a wax job on the painted surfaces of the cab and engine compartment .
