Bethlehem needs your talents! Do you like to plan events? Are you good at getting a group of people together? Do you have the gift of hospitality? Like to have fun? We are starting a new ministry at Bethlehem that will plan and coordinate community events. Ideas are wide open but this group will dream big about events for the whole community a few times during the year. It's simply a way to share the love of Jesus and have some fun! See Pastor Lynda if you are interested. A planning meeting will be held May 7 at 6:30 pm here at the church. Come see how you can help!

THANK YOU! Dear Bethlehem Family, I felt so surprised and loved to receive your note and gift! Thank you for supporting and encouraging me through my final months of seminary. As I enter into this season of transition, I am thankful for all the ways God has and continues to use my Bethlehem family as a loving reminder of my call. I ‘m grateful for all the ways you show me what it means to be “church”. Welcome Dolly Tyson, Bethlehem’s new Administrative Assistant. She has already begun working on different areas of her new position and will take over completely in late May.

Celebrating 23 Years
Each church has its sacred treasures. Bethlehem has many- the faithful people throughout the years, beautiful sanctuary and facilities, a giving attitude, an obvious love for Jesus, and much more. Another treasure for Bethlehem is Ella Barefoot, our administrative assistant. Ella has served Christ here at Bethlehem for over 23 years and will be retiring May 22. As the first preschool director, she has helped shaped the lives of many children, who are now grown into adulthood. As administrative assistant, she has continued to guide the preschool in several ways and helped shape the ministries of Bethlehem. She has touched many lives in our congregation and in the community throughout the years.
We give great praise to God for Ella’s faithfulness for all that Ella has meant to us in her work here at Bethlehem. We will be celebrating Ella on May 18th during both services with a reception during the fellowship time. Bring a card and tell Ella how much you appreciate her. We will miss Ella but wish her all the best as she goes forth into retirement to spend more time with her grandchildren, family and her continued work for the Lord!
