We take great pleasure in inviting you for the ADVANCED COURSE in OBGYN ULTRASOUND to be held in nd thMumbai in the holiday week end of 2 - 4 May, 2014. The course will be conducted by the current International
and National Gurus of OBGYN USG. The international faculty comprises of Prof. Dr. Med. Rabih Chaoui
(Germany), Prof. Dario Paladini (Italy), Dr. Nicholas Raine-Fenning (UK) and Prof. Jonathan Hyett (Australia), all
pioneers in the field of OBGyn usg. They will be complimented by our very own Indian experts providing us with
their COMPARIBLE INDIAN experiences.
The course will cater to Radiologists, Sonologists, OBGYN specialists and Fetal medicine specialists who are
interested in acquiring cutting edge skills in basic and advanced OBGYN Ultrasound techniques. This will
empower the attendees to provide higher standards in practicing OBGYN ultrasound to your patients
comparable to international centers of excellence in this field. The Course will provide the very latest information
on first trimester and second trimester screening for congenital anomalies, Fetal Echocardiography, Fetal
Neurology, Fetal Infection screen, Obstetric Color Doppler, Fetal growth restriction, Fetal interventions, Infertility,
Gyanaec malignancies, Elastography, Contrast imaging etc.
The faculty will focus on the latest diagnostic techniques and management strategies for the varied pathologies.
The traditional lecture programs will be complemented by interactive sessions, live demonstrations and the
presentation of new diagnostic hints as recently published in the literature.

Prof. Dr. Rabih's major interest
is in fetal ultrasound mainly the
cardiovascular system. His
major achievements in
Ultrasound are: Study of the
fetal coronary and pulmonary
circulation, suggestion of
specific planes in fetal echo,
evaluation of the fetal thymus,
application of 3D in prenatal
diagnosis, assessment of first
trimester brain.
Prof Dario Paladini
Prof. Dario Paladini has and
continues to contribute
extensively to the field of
diagnostic ultrasound. So far, he
has taught well over 200 national
and international ultrasound
courses and seminars, and has
coordinates the ISUOG activities
worldwide as Chair of the
Education Committee until 2009;
since he acts as past-chair
for the same committee.
Dr. Nicholas Raine-Fenning
Prof. Nick Raine-Fenning is a
clinically active academic who
works both as a Consultant
Gynaecologist at the Nottingham
University Hospitals NHS Trust and
as a Reader/Associate Professor of
Reproductive Medicine and Surgery
at the University of Nottingham.
Clinically he manages women with
benign gynaecological pathology
and is an experienced
endoscopic surgeon.
Prof. Jonathan Hyett
Prof. Jon Hyettis Head of High Risk
Obstetrics and a Staff Specialist in
Obstetrics and Maternal and Fetal
Medicine at the Royal Prince Alfred
Hospital, Sydney. He trained in Obstetrics
and Gynaecology and subspecialised in
Maternal and Fetal Medicine in the UK.
His primary research interests are
predictive modelling of adverse
pregnancy outcome, first trimester
prenatal diagnosis and the management
of twin pregnancies.
