    The TIGER Program created under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) is a $1

    billion dollar multi-modal discretionary grant program that was designed to provide support finnovative transportation projects of National, regional, and local significance, includingprojects that are often difficult to fund under the traditional transportation programs. Theprogram received over 1400 applications, totaling almost $60 billion and awarded 51 projects

    The purpose of this seminar is to identify the key elements of competitive applications, providinformation on developing benefit cost analysis and present information on the programsprocesses. Additionally, the Department has received $600m for TIGER II and informationoutlining this next round of grant awards will be presented.

    This free seminar will be held in the Atrium of the West Building of the DepartmentsHeadquarters, as well as, simulcast via the web. Access to this webcast will be available

    through the Departments website at www.dot.gov.

    There is no registration fee for this seminar and advance registration is required. To attend,
