Please include all pertinent information for June, July & August. Sunday Theme for May 25 th - Personal Care - Items to be donated to Interfaith. Please remember that all items donated must be new & unopened. Suggestions: deodorant, tooth- paste, bath soap, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, hand lotion, etc. Graduation Day! - We would like to honor those people from our church family who are graduating from high school, trade school, vocational school and/or college. If you have a family member who is taking that wonderful step in their life this spring, please let the church office know so we can make sure to include them in our celebration. Thank you! UMW - Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 20 th has been cancelled. 2014 Annual Conference Bishop’s Offering - The offering will strengthen efforts to en- gage young adults in the mission of God & Develop leadership skills both here & in Africa. Half of the donations will go toward scholarships for students at Africa University in Zimba- bwe & half will help launch a new intern program for young adults willing to serve in select- ed communities in Florida. We will receive an offering June 8 as a participation in this ex- pression of God’s mission. Thank you for your support of our efforts to engage the next gen- eration in the mission of God & to develop leaders who have a heart for service & will make a difference in our world. The peace of the Lord, Bishop Kenneth H. Carter, Jr. Prayer Shawl Ministry will not be meeting during the summer and fall, however; we will continue to have shawls available at the Church Office. If you have someone you would like to have a prayer shawl, please take one - leave the name of the person receiving it and your name.
