Our elders want to be available to pray with you anytime you have a need. At least one elder will be in our prayer room (#302) at the end of each Sunday service. If you would like to pray, just

leave the auditorium during the invitation song and come to the prayer room. At other times, feel free to call the office to arrange a meeting.

Addie Bell had an appendectomy on Tuesday evening.

Pam Bishop fell and is in Vanderbilt for evaluation.

William Ewing was hospitalized and is now at home.

Donna High had surgery on Monday on her broken ankle. She is to be non-weight bearing for eight weeks.

Rosie Hayes, mother of Ashley Birch, is seriously ill and has been moved to NHC Cool Springs.

David Manning and Donna will be relocating to Durham, NC on June 1 to prepare for a probable lung transplant.

Tom Whitfield is awaiting test results and will likely have

surgery. Prayers requested for the best possible test results.

Ryman Wiley, 2 year old granddaughter of Mike and Betty Wiley and David and Debbie Tucker, continues to

experience seizures. (daughter of Jody and Matthew Wiley)

Continuing treatments: JonJon Huddleston, Sue Lyell,

Guy Rochelle, Molly Zirkle, Ronnie Chrisman (brother of

Tammy Muse), Sheryle Elkins (mother of Barry Elkins),

Katy Unruh (sister of Kristin Green).

At NHC Cool Springs: Steve Pitts (1109B), Elizabeth

Raney, Barbara Shewmake (No visitors).

Anne Leaver remains at Woodcrest at Blakeford.

SYMPATHY IS EXTENDED TO: the family of Martha Cartwright, mother of Diane Bauer and

grandmother of Fawn Bauer. The funeral was held on

engagement and plan to marry in October.

Mackenzie Shankland, daughter of Jamie and Lisa,

and Logan Britt have announced their engagement

and are planning an October wedding.

The new cookbooks are here and

available for purchase. Today they are

located at the information desk in the

foyer. The cost of the New 60th

Anniversary Cookbooks are $15 each.

We still have several of the 50th

Anniversary Cookbooks and they are

also available to purchase for $5 each.

Marriage Class offered for June and July Beginning on Wednesday, June 3, at 6:30 p.m. and continuing

through June and July, a video marriage series will be offered

featuring Francis and Lisa Chan entitled, "You and Me Forever -

Marriage in Light of Eternity". In this series, Francis and Lisa

challenge us to think differently about some of the most important

relationships in our lives. Please be sure to sign up at the kiosk

in the foyer as the class will be limited to 20 couples.

The SHINE Ministry invites YOU to help

provide items for their adopted school, Cole

Elementary Teacher Appreciation Auction. The

teachers seek to go “ABOVE AND BEYOND” in

showing their exceptional dedication to the students. Clean out

those gift closets for items that have been there way too long.

Gift cards will also be purchased to donate. Please place your

donations in the SHINE bins outside the small auditorium by

Sunday, May 24.

VBS June 14-17– Get ready for a spectacular VBS 2015!

ALL children who plan to attend VBS must be registered.

You may register at the VBS kiosk or on the BHCC website.

Casting Crowns t-shirts are available for $13 each. Payment

is due with registration. Deadline to order t-shirts is May 24!

Donations Needs for VBS:

45” cotton material suitable for boys (minimum size - 1 yd.)

Spools of ¼ inch satin or grosgrain ribbon

Jewelry – necklaces & bracelets

Make-up (unused/unopened samples of lipstick, blush, eye shadow)

These items can be placed in the bins in the Resource Center.

Children’s Teacher Sign-ups for Summer/School Year Summer quarter begins on June 7 - Sign up in the foyer or on

the BHCC website. The goal is to have all teachers by May 24.

LIKE TO SING? If you are interested in being a part of our miked singing team

during worship times, you’re invited to attend an informal prac-

tice session of the group. Join the team on Wednesdays at 6:30-

7:30 p.m. in room 502. During this time, you’ll sit with others in

your voice part to see how your voice blends collectively with

the group and share some of our experiences to see if this posi-

tion is a good fit for you and for the team. Contact Andrew
