Bite back at hunger this Christian Aid Week - 12-18 May 2013

Today around 870 million people are desperate for food. One in eight people will go to bed hungry

tonight. Christian Aid's emergency appeals aim to help people whose lives have been affected by crisis,

conflict and disaster. The Syrian appeal is just one part of the world where Christian Aid are trying to

make a difference.

Syria Crisis Appeal

The ongoing violent conflict in Syria has affected over 5 million Syrians; more than 1 million of whom have

fled the country as refugees. The Syria Crisis Appeal is responding to the growing humanitarian needs of

people within Syria and in neighbouring countries. Hundreds of thousands of people urgently need essential

items such as food, blankets and hygiene kits.
