“A more perfect location could not have been built for us,” Lorraine says of The Boston Public Library, which was the inspiration for their wedding design. Lorraine wore a lace fit-and-flare gown with an open back, paired with champagne heels. At cocktail hour, the couple served two signature drinks: the Old Cuban for Lorraine, which is a mojito with a few ounces of her favorite champagne added in, and for Daniel, the Whiskey Smash—bourbon muddled with mint and lemon.

The ceremony took place in the Abbey Room. “The room was purposely dimly lit, as if by candlelight,” Lorraine recalls. The meal was the single most

important part of the night for her and Daniel. “Each course, whether in flavors or style, was carefully selected to reflect some part of our lives together—from

our origins and how we met to our engagement and our future,” she adds.

and gold. Lorraine and Daniel chose “Come Rain or Come Shine” by Frank Sinatra for their first dance. “The song perfectly encapsulated how we feel about each other,” Lorraine recalls.
