On Saturday, May 4th, 500 leaders in business, health care and philanthropy gathered at Centennial Arena, to help celebrate Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation’s 25th anniversary and to raise funds to build a new ER. The arena was transformed into an elegant and whimsical ballroom for the Foundation’s premier fundraising event.

The celebration included a sumptuous meal catered and prepared on-site by Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver, auction items valued at more than $100,000 and dancing to live music. Global BC’s senior meteorologist Mark Madryga was master of ceremonies.

“Often it’s the things beyond our control that bring us to the ER. Stroke, infections, mental illness, heart attack, a car or bike accident, and workplace injuries... these are just some of the events that can place you or someone you love in the ER” - Dragana Sanderson
