Maximizing Feud Score: The Mad Hatters Club
Feuds in general are a team effort, individual points are not very
important. There are some players that want take it to the extreme and
see how high they can take their own score. This is an inside look at the art
of the possible from those that have done it. Pull up a chair, there’s
always room at the table.

Preparation: In and Out of the Game
Your goal during the feud is to maximize points. If Time = Points, then focus on maximizing feud time.
In Game:
• Complete any available daily’s prior to feud start
• Ensure a large supply of Health Packs, Faction Heals and Props are opened and ready.
Do not waste time opening things during a feud
• Have your team set, saved, and at full health
Out of game – Reduce the chance of distractions / surprises
• Handle your schedule. Most Mad Hatter’s play most if not the entire feud without breaks
or sleeping. Everything you need for 24 or 48 hours should be within reach – food,
chargers, your sanity etc.
• Discuss with any family and friends ahead of time if needed
o Pro tip: Proactively set up and treat your spouse to a SPA day

Basics: This Is Not Enough
Your Feud Team:
• Move set: Make sure the right moves are selected
and are in the order you use them most (or the order
you would use them if they were all filled at the
same time). The special in the left will always be
highlighted first. The seconds you save add up!
• Props: Don’t wait for a feud to start to have
this figured out. The left slot will be for any
that you change out frequently (like Shangos)
the right primarily for your main workhorse
show of harts. Open prop bags prior to feud
start.
• Health Packs: This will vary per player. 48 hour
feuds can range from a few hundred to well over a
thousand. This is why it’s advised to generally
only use health packs during a feud. Another
option- but slower is to alternate workhorses and
have one up for faction heals when needed.
• Faction Heals: Open these prior to the start of the
feud. Do not neglect your team; give them as much
attention as you want them to give you.

Advanced: It’s Still A Team Effort
In any given feud there are only so many points to be won. When attempting a high
score you want to maximize your time to point ratio, playing exclusively 4* opponents
when possible.
You can always help clean up others lanes when finishing faster, but the true secret to
high score is having as many Advocates as possible.
Advocates: Faction members that when party with you automatically:
• Give you the top lane if you don’t have it already
• Clear their bottom opponents and leave the top for you
• Encourage other faction members to do the same
• Clean up the 1 and 2 stars as needed

Advanced: Extreme
Get 3x or more points total from a single feud
Form a party with both Advocates and Managers.
• Managers are those faction members that cannot feud, but can still join the queue,
generally with their lowest possible rosters and do not play
o If forming a party with both Advocates and Managers the Managers should bring
their highest roster to attract the most possible points
Tips to successful execution:
• Discuss with your faction mates as soon as you know you will be attempting a high score
• When working with 1 or 2 advocates the total time it takes to clear a feud should remain
the same or very close to it
• Everyone except Managers should always be working. No one should be waiting for
you- the main goal of a feud is always the faction first. If you start to fall behind let your
Advocates help clear everything and move onto the next feud
• Give credit where credit is due. The Haven is always incredibly supportive. Rated-R and
The Flaming Chaos spent a couple hours each helping me execute the concept
successfully during the slower overnight hours during the original attempt.

Minimizing The Impact of System Issues
There are plenty of things that can go wrong and most likely will at some point. Stay calm and
handle them as best as possible.
Waiting for others to finish – sneak in a match towards the daily’s
00 Glitch – Quit and Rejoin your faction after:
• ***This appears to be fixed***
• Heal faction mates
• Screen shot your score if required by your faction or no event running
Lag / Red Ring - Try all options available to you including
• Devices – switch or try using a PC emulator like KO Player or Blue stacks. Many users
report much better performance during feuds.
• ISPs – switch to other public available or try cell. Sometimes cell performance can be
much better.
Frozen Queue – Usually caused when one member is in a feud and queue
• Communicate with all faction members to exit the queue and not rejoin
• If someone is still in the queue they are most likely in a feud
o Once their feud is done the queue will be working again
o Communication with the faction here is Key. A broken queue is crippling to
everyone in the faction.

Feud differences
Figure out if it’s worth your time trying to go all out for your best score or if it’s worth waiting
for the next one
Requirements
• Do you have at least 1 top tier workhorse for the feud?
• How does the rest of your team look, will you be in the first or second spot most times?
Teams – 5 vs 9
• Most prefer teams of 5 vs teams of 9. In generally the feuds are faster with 5.
24 vs. 48 hour Feuds
• There are many players that will play for 24 hours straight, and still some that will try for
48 hours. What are you prepared to do?

Performance Strategy and Enhancers
Playing an instrument, sports, or video games for fun is a different guide. This is about what
others have done and continue to do to maximize performance. This is information, not a
recommendation. Consult with your physician before engaging in any gem breaking activities.
Sleep- Are you prepared to stay up?
• You can best prepare your body by getting a little bit of extra sleep each night / day
leading up a feud. Some are able to alter their schedule and condition themselves for 48
hours without an issue.
Energy Aids –Over the counter
• Try a shower, or even a good cardio session, you can still play on a bike
• Energy drinks or anything with caffeine – use in
moderation and only when needed as too much can have
a negative effect
• Gamer-Up – a powdered drink, similar to a pre-workout,
created by Controlled Labs – known for their
bodybuilding and workout supplements.
Switch-er-roo- Letting someone else play your account when you sleep
• This is not in the spirit of this guide or The Mad Hatters Club

The Impact of 4 Stars
This guide was last updated 6 months ago. Since then some things have evolved with the
introduction of 4 Stars and Coaches. (12/5/18)
• Increased Stats overall but especially Health to Class ratio. All things equal, Showboats
have the most and Strikers have the least.
• Health Pack Conservation Techniques including using fast sub guys for feuds. This
technique doesn’t work when attempting a high score simply due to speed.
o Mad Hatter avg. opponent 60-90 seconds, rarely +120 seconds
• Coaches / Feud Perks (which can help or hurt overall speed and points)
Engaging in battle
• Speed is still King, enter each match with offensive props to win if initial match not
possible
• Should have a full stock of Props, Health packs and a good internet connection
Advanced Technique: Tossing in the Towel
• With the right trainers / coaches many superstars have fast charging subs that last many
turns. Sometimes the opponent even seems to have the ability to charge them so fast it
seems like they loop together. On turn one of a long sub or as soon as you recognize a
looping pattern it may be more beneficial to your goal of a high score, to pause and quit
the match. It is horrible health
pack management but that is not
the goal. You will be able to
reengage much faster. (This can
also be used anytime someone is
stuck in a match and everyone else
has finished- simply pause and quit
until the lane is free)

Putting it all together
Breakdown of last personal best attempt.
There were a total of 3 workhorses on the team.
Everyone else was set with the best remaining defensive
setup.
*Note: TUF and most of the team are not maxed. That’s
something to work on with time, they are all still very
effective.
Workhorses
Seth Rollins (TUF)
Used the most due to speed and versatility
1ST turn priority blue (to start filling it).
2nd turn (and anytime possible) use special choose
one-green to fill remaining special choose-blue
while being cautious not to pin. Extra purple gems
from special one can be placed in anticipation of
special two being charged.
If the above isn’t possible, try to set up matches to
refill special one or two for next turn or use the
purple finisher when charged.
Repeat as needed.
(It is worth the time to watch some top players
control TUF, I’d recommend DLE)

Workhorses *would now add mp coaches
Zombie Steve Austin (ZSCA)
Played very strong against opponents with low to
medium health (Eddie, Volkoff). Only one round of
specials was needed for a pin and win. Still effective
against others but tends to be a bit slower than TUF.
Build was for complete control/anti sub
Turn 1 if no purple match can use a purple prop to start
the cycle immediately and move to turn 2
Turn 2- use skip a turn special then priority yellow
Turn 3- use yellow special to set up silence gems to
refill purple and when possible cascade to help refill
yellow.
Repeat as needed
The Rock (Trick Rock)
Build was for and played very strong vs priority red
opponents (Razor, Andre, Hacksaw)
Bray may have been overkill.
Turn 1- If opponent has red MP- take it, then priority
black to refill it
Turn 2- if red bleed ready use it, if opponent has red to
steal and you can, take it. Then use either red special 2
or match to refill your black special / take away other
colors from opponent. Repeat as needed
*It’s ok to leave red for opponent to match knowing you
will steal them*
*Bleed stacks and works amazing during pins*

The End Result
❖ A new personal best!
❖ Got to play with many faction members and different opponents
The Cost
• About 1k health packs
• Dedicating and Micro Managing every second with the goal in mind for 24 hours
The Difference between this time and previous personal best attempts.
This time was a very relaxing experience and the first feud since the Last Legion Merger. We
never ran smoother. The feud chat was drama free like normal and everyone was cognizant of
the team effort. There were many times faction mates did not re-engage and simply waited
when they calculated others would finish well ahead. This is what helped us push to second
overall this feud, made my attempt successful and really made for a fun experience.
Attitude, being surrounded with the right type of support is the secret.
In addition to the faction providing support, encouragement and point opportunities, my wife
and family are well apprised of what is happing and offer their support. The kind words of my
wife before turning in “You got this honey, you set a goal now finish it!” or “It’s the half way
mark are you on pace?” goes a long way for me personally.
If it means that much to you, take the time to explain why to the ones you love.
Then get out there and make it happen.
There’s always room at the Mad Hatters Table.
