Maths Active School Accreditation

Maths Active School accreditation is provided to schools that demonstrate effective mathematics teaching and learning programs. It has been designed to show case and acknowledge best practice in mathematics education.

Once your application has been submitted a team of MAV Mathematical Education Consultants will review it and provide feedback. Following this, and any possibly revised applications, your application will be tabled at a suitable MAV Council meeting for their approval.

You will be notified shortly afterwards whether you were successful and an invoice will be issued.

Approximately six to eight weeks after confirmation of your accreditation, a plaque will be presented to your school by MAV CEO Peter Saffin or an MAV Councillor. This is often done best at a whole school assembly. To make arrangements for your schools’ presentation, please contact Darinka or Ellen on 9380 2399.
