Balaclava Fort is located on one
of the most stunning parts of
Mauritius island, a pristine stretch
of beach overlooking the Bay of
Balaclava, just north of the
capital, Port Louis.
The resort is located 15 minutes
drive from the main tourist region of
Grand Baie, and 50 minutes' drive
from Plaisance International Airport.
InterContinental Mauritius offers 140 Deluxe Ocean
Facing rooms, 20 Deluxe Terrace rooms which have
whirlpool and private roof terraces, tastefully laid out
for our guests' greatest comfort. To compliment this the hotel also features 40 Family
Rooms and 10 Presidential Suites complete with
their own private hot tubs, terraces and balconies,
all beautifully designed for guests to relax and enjoy
the most of the stunning views of the Indian Ocean.
InterContinental Resort Mauritius provides the largest
ballroom on the island for 600 delegates in theater
style with direct access to the beach. In additional to
our hotel ballroom we are able to provide 5 smaller
breakout rooms to your convenience.

4 to 12 years. These offer an unforgettable experience to
our young guests through various activities in a supervised
