Winding:Wind the watch manually with the crown f. When the spring is fully wound, you will feel resistance from the crown's winding mechanism, which indicates that the spring and its brace have reached maximum tension. do not force the crown, stop winding immediately. essentially, a suitably wound spring ensures the correct amplitude of the balance, and increases operating precision.

setting the time:pull out the crown f: turn the hours hand c and the minutes hand b clockwise, until the desired time is obtained. push the crown f back into position 1.

chronograph functions:the chronograph can be started by pushing the pusher g. the chronograph hand moves at the same speed as the seconds hand a.When the chronograph hand d passes 60 (12 o'clock), the minutes timer hand e moves forward one division, i.e. by one minute. one of the features of this movement is that it has a 60-minute timer.the chronograph can be stopped by pushing the pusher g a second time. the chronograph hand d stops and the “minute-register” function e is deactivated.to reset the chronograph to 0, press the pusher h, located at 4 o'clock. the chronograph hand d and the minutes-timer hand e are reset to zero through the action of the chronograph mechanism's hammer and the various wheels.

Winding:Wind the watch manually with the crown f. When the spring is fully wound, you will feel resistance from the crown's winding mechanism, which indicates that the spring and its brace have reached maximum tension. do not force the crown, stop winding immediately. essentially, a suitably wound spring ensures the correct amplitude of the balance, and increases operating precision.

setting the time:pull out the crown f: turn the hours hand c and the minutes hand b clockwise, until the desired time is obtained. push the crown f back into position 1.

chronograph functions:the chronograph can be started by pushing the pusher g. the chronograph hand moves at the same speed as the seconds hand a.When the chronograph hand d passes 60 (12 o'clock), the minutes timer hand e moves forward one division, i.e. by one minute. one of the features of this movement is that it has a 60-minute timer.the chronograph can be stopped by pushing the pusher g a second time. the chronograph hand d stops and the “minute-register” function e is deactivated.to reset the chronograph to 0, press the pusher h, located at 4 o'clock. the chronograph hand d and the minutes-timer hand e are reset to zero through the action of the chronograph mechanism's hammer and the various wheels.

eXamples of use:living in london and flying to hong Kong: by checking on the outer dial area, one can see the time difference is +8h. When taking the plane, press 8 times on pusher (h) to set new local time.

While doing so, the 24 h hand remains unchanged. it indicates home time, and can serve as a reference to reset local time on the return trip, or when giving a phone call at home.

living in paris, giving a call to new york (check local time and make sure the contact will be available). the dial shows a – 6 h difference, which is set on the 12h display by pressing 6 times on pusher (i). home time can then be set back by pressing 6 times on the other pusher (h).

date will adjust automatically to local time: if one’sairplane lands in hong Kong at 10:00 pm, coming from london, the watch is adjusted by pressing 8 times on pusher (h). the watch then indicates 6:00 am local time and date has shifted +1 day.

When coming back, the watch is set back to home time by pressing 8 times on pusher (i): if hand (a) crosses midnight, date will shift –1 day.

note: summer/winter time difference between some countries must be considered by the customer when calculating time shift.

eXamples of use:living in london and flying to hong Kong: by checking on the outer dial area, one can see the time difference is +8h. When taking the plane, press 8 times on pusher (h) to set new local time.

While doing so, the 24 h hand remains unchanged. it indicates home time, and can serve as a reference to reset local time on the return trip, or when giving a phone call at home.

living in paris, giving a call to new york (check local time and make sure the contact will be available). the dial shows a – 6 h difference, which is set on the 12h display by pressing 6 times on pusher (i). home time can then be set back by pressing 6 times on the other pusher (h).

date will adjust automatically to local time: if one’sairplane lands in hong Kong at 10:00 pm, coming from london, the watch is adjusted by pressing 8 times on pusher (h). the watch then indicates 6:00 am local time and date has shifted +1 day.

When coming back, the watch is set back to home time by pressing 8 times on pusher (i): if hand (a) crosses midnight, date will shift –1 day.

note: summer/winter time difference between some countries must be considered by the customer when calculating time shift.
