Editorial - A word from the owners
The story of the JUREK company begins with our father Stanislav JUREK senior - an upholstery master, who was able to manufacture almost anything. From a mattress to a tent, a backpack to sleeping bag, or complex historical furniture.When we were three young boys our father used to take us for trips to the open country-side and to the mountains. He used to make the necessary tools for us and later he observed how we could manufacture our own tools.
At the beginning of the nineties, Stanislav JUREK senior with his son Stanislav founded an upholstery workshop. At that time, high-quality dome tents were very rare.
But we already had a lot of experience with their manufacture and use and so we came up with an idea to manufacture them.Today we can proudly say that we have been manufacturing them for over 20 years. Our customers have travelled with our tents through all continents and used them in all climate zones. And when they came back they gave us valuable advice such as where to add something or what to reduce a bit, what works well or what we should improve or what was redundant and we should not focus on. All of these experiences have been integrated into the development of our products and thanks to that you may enjoy them now as well.
Besides the tents shown in our catalogue you may also find sleeping bags, sleeping pads and other equipment necessary for an enjoyable stay in the wild.
We do not offer upholstering services any more but we follow in the footsteps of our father and manufacture high-quality products covered with life-time services.
We want to be a reliable partner for all adventurers, romantics and travellers and accompany them on their travels throughout the world. A partner that you can count on in every situation.

Goose down (G95) – best material ever, concerning the insulating properties. Excellent fillpower and durability.
Ultra-fine Primaloft One microfiber (PL1) – very successful replacement of down, developed for the US Army. Thanks to the special fibre treatment, it is highly water-repellent and has minimum heat loss. Heat loss of other fillings can reach 40–60 %.
Hollowfiber (DV) – one-hollow fibre with excellent fillpower.
Fleece inner liners improve thermal properties of all sleeping bags. Available for all sleeping bag sizes.

New line of lite self-inflating ELITE pads is by 20 % lighter and has compressed volume by 40 % smaller than previous models. Insulating properties have not been affected adversely by weight reduction (reached by using horizontal channels), in comparison with older models. Both materials and production technology have undergone a significant change, which ensures higher mechanical resistance and durability. Upper fabric has a diamond (or honeycomb) non-slip Ripstop finish which prevents the sleeping bag from sliding on the pad. Before packing, each pad is carefully tested for 72 hours to exclude all leaks.
