with strong shots. In addition, I have stamina and am generally very fit. For instance, over the years, I have never cramped during tournaments. My dedication and my work routine on the court will, I am convinced, be rewarded.

On the court, my strengths lies in understanding my attacking game - knowing how and when to attack. My current coaches consider this approach as a real strength.

From a more technical perspective, my backhand approaches to the net, my smash and net game enable me to execute my attacking game. From the back of the court, my two-handed backhand is clearly my main strength. It allows me to cover all the angles, to mix things up, change the pace, go down the line etc.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT YOURSELF THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE?I am totally involved in my scholarship US project since I joined high school. It is a personal goal and challenge which I have set myself, because I know I will come out a stronger player and individual from my time in the US. Of course, to leave my friends and family behind is going to be tough but when I think of what lies ahead of me (to play high level tennis, in a team, in a foreign country and experience a top education system) I am convinced it’s the right pathway for me.

I am currently, the captain of my high school, and to represent an American university would be an important milestone for me and I am prepared to do anything it takes to achieve my goal.

WHAT MAKES YOU WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE ?To integrate a US university would enable me to live a lifetime human and cultural experience! To combine world class studies while playing tennis at the same time would be a dream come true for me - something that would be impossible in the current French education system.

With an additional 4 years of intense tennis training in the ‘winning’ American sporting culture, I will really be able to know my potential in high-level tennis. The idea of living abroad and discovering the US also appeals to me. To meet new people in a sporting and academic environment would also be exceptional.

To live in the US, my life can only get better, given that I would improve my English, obtain a good degree. All these elements will help me in becoming an adult and maturing within an international environment. In addition, this would be my first foray into the indecent life - without my parents! To integrate a US university, should give me extra credibility

and value added vis-a-vis of future employers.

WHAT ARE YOUR TENNIS STRENGTHS?First of all, I am totally involved in the scholarship USA project and have my parent’s full backing for this project. With my dad, who is also my coach, we have approached my tennis project from a very professional and focused standpoint.

My dedication and focus towards tennis, hasn’t given me much time for social activities, nevertheless my school grades are good and have always been so. In terms of my tennis, I am a physical player
