describe features of 2-D shapes.• Concept: Different 2-D shapes have

different features.

• Activities:1. Introduction of 2-D shapes through the

video.

2. Shapes description- Square- Rectangle- Circle- Star- Triangle

3. Closing – to emphasis the vocabulary. -- to draw a picture by the shapes given.

RECTANGLE

• I am a rectangle.• I have 4 corners.• I have 4 sides.

SQUARE

• I am a square.• I have 4 corners.• I have 4 equal sides.

CIRCLE

• I am a circle.• I am round.

TRIANGLE

• I am a triangle.• I have 3 corners.• I have 3 sides.

STAR

• I am a star.• I have 5 points.
