Each student must have a graphing calculator to use throughout the test (both paper and online) for the Algebra I EOC assessment.

STAAR grades 3–8 and STAAR EOC assessments have a 4 hour time limit for approximately 50 questions.

Will align Texas testing practices with other timed state and national assessments; such as, SAT, ACT, and AP examinations that are also timed.

Extended time accommodations for students with unique learning needs will continue to be offered.
