    To add integers with the same sign , add their absolute values. Give the result the same sign as the integers.

    To add integers with different signs , subtract their absolute values. Give the difference the same sign as the integer with the greater absolute value.

    Test QuestionsAt the beginning of this unit's notes, write 2 questions that could show up on the unit test. You do NOT need to solve the questions.

    You will add to this list throughout the entire unit.

    * Individual Think Time *

    What to do if you get stuck...1. Reread the problem. Did you write it

    down correctly?2. Reread your notes. Is there a problem

    similar that we did together in class?3. Find a problem similar in your book. Try

    this one to see if it helps.4. Skip the problem until the end of

    Individual Think Time. Then ask an "educated" question of a neighbor or Mrs. Call.
