COLOURS AND SPECIAL EFFECTS We do all our colour matching in -house at our technical centres and production sites using state of the art Minolta Spectrophotometers. Our colours are usually produced from raw pigments rather than bought-in masterbatches. This allows us to fine-tune during production and enables us to produce much finer colour tolerances. It also means we can control the pigments used. Rotational moulding is an aggressive process and we have undertaken extensive work to develop a palette of top-quality pigments which have high levels of thermal stability and light-fastness. The following are our standard colours and stone effects. If you require a specific colour we will colour-match in-house and produce a sample for you to approve.

CUSTOM GRADES Different rotomoulding applications can require different grades of material. We produce customise grades by compounding different materials and by altering the grinding specification as required. For example if you need a material that is very stiff but also flows well we can produce a high density grade with a high melt flow and we can also alter the grinding specification to enhance mouldability. SUPER-LINEAR® GRADES Matrix Polymers was the first company to develop and market Super-Linear® type materials in Europe. They are most widely used in the manufacture of kayaks, canoes and sailing boats where the combined benefits of high stiffness/rigidity and scratch resistance with very good impact strength and toughness make these materials the ideal choice. Super-Linear® grades can also be used for automotive components which are required to be lightweight, stiff and tough.

We produce customise grades by compounding different materials and by altering the grinding specification as required. For example if you need a material that is very stiff but also flows well we can produce a high density grade with a high melt flow and we can also alter the grinding specification to enhance mouldability.
