The story of GeD cucine began in 1969 in Biancade near Treviso, which has traditionally been a centre of furniture production. The company has developed and established itself thanks to the insight and determination of the founder Giuseppe Dolfo, not to mention his ability to consciously represent and express the essential blend of tradition and modernity in the products that he has conceived over time.
GeD cucine shows great respect for its customers and the users of its products by placing the utmost importance on the content and the substance of the materials, especially natural wood. It is a key, intrinsic part of GeD cucine’s furniture not only because of its history and tradition, but also because of its renowned durability and reusability over time. A number of types of wood are used in the joinery department, including Ash and Oak. The trees come from monitored reforestation areas. Once they have been seasoned, they are cut and processed in a largely integrated procedure.
In addition to an ideal pairing of form and function, the focus of GeD cucine’s design research is on a stylistic dimension that is contemporary but not faddish. There is no room for extravagance or passing fashions in the timeless look that is put together in the same way as the products: it is made to last over the years, standing the test of changing tastes as well as wear and tear.
The design approach is based on the “classically trendy” concept: a stylistic and fundamentally philosophical outlook developed by GeD cucine that influenced the market by opening up new horizons for home and kitchen furniture design, while also giving GeD cucine an established and recognizable identity.GeD cucine’s products have a clear character which is based on the quality of the contents and the containers, as well as on materials such as wood, stone, steel and glass. It is a character built on reliability, durable products, the right balance between form and function, and respect for the customers, the users and the environment.

solid WOODsor 3 layers solid woodS
LEGNI masselloo legni massello 3 strati
Solid wood is taken from the innermost part of the tree trunk, called heartwood, which is the thickest part.By selecting a trunk, you can see the growth circles of the tree which tend to curve outwards. This phenomenon, referred to as “tiro al cuore” (pulling to the centre), explains the reason why flat doors are not produced in solid wood: in fact, wood is a “live” material that would naturally tend to bow.GeD cucine has been producing solid wood “framed” doors since 1969, one of the oldest building techniques applied to furniture which, thanks to the overall “panel + frame” in alternating sections, is a reliable solution even if a bit limited from an aesthetic point of view.
Today, within the vast Velvet kitchen system, GeD cucine produce “smooth” solid wood doors in Oak and Larch using a 3 layer technique (3S): the overlapping of three solid wood surfaces glued together is an equally valid solution to the “framed” door, thereby allowing use of this exceptional material for minimalist kitchen models.Wood is the most ecological material*: it can be renewed, there’s no need to recycle it and it can be reused for hundreds of years.
All wood used by GeD cucine comes from monitored reforestation.
To clean the suface, use a soft cloth soaked in alcohol diluted in water in the direction of the grain and dry with a soft, dry and non-abrasive cloth.Clean wine or acid stains immediately. Avoid abrasive products, pads or detergents, acetone, trilene, ammonia, chlorine, diluents, furniture wax and polish.

LEGNI IMPIALLACCIATI specialiSU PANNELLO LIGNEO classe e1
To meet new market requirements, GeD cucine created a collection, for the veneered Velvet models range, in 5 new types of precious wood.
The veneered wood door consists of a class E1* wooden support covered with a 0,6 mm layer of wood - called veneer - which, for special veneers, is made from precious wood, Canaletto Walnut (or American Walnut) and heat-treated Oak with an opaque finish, as well as Olive, Ebony and Rosewood available both with an opaque and an ultra gloss finish (6 coats of polyester with 2%~ paraffin).
It is supported by a panel of agglomerates in recycled wood and glue. The european standard UNI EN 13986, with tests EN 717 and EN 120, which is currently the most restrictive, awards class E1 which forbids an average release of formaldehyde over 2,5 mg/m2h with a concentration of less than 0,1 ppm.
GeD cucine uses “smooth” 26 mm thick doors with front and back special veneer, with edges in 1 mm thick finish. The fronts have a coordinated and continuous vertical veneer.
Since we are dealing with wood, to clean veneered surfaces, use a soft cloth soaked in alcohol diluted in water in the direction of the grain and dry with a soft, dry and non-abrasive cloth. Clean any wine or acid stains immediately.Avoid abrasive pads or detergents, acetone, trilene, ammonia, chlorine, diluents, furniture wax and polish.

VENEERED WOODson e1 class chipboard panel
LEGNI IMPIALLACCIATISU PANNELLO LIGNEO classe e1
GeD cucine proposes a vast range of veneered wood kitchens in natural stained or lacquered Oak, as well as Walnut, for the Fiamma model, and Cherry, for the Naturasia model.
The veneered wood door consists of a Class E1* wooden support with a 0,6 mm wooden veneer. For Oak, the varnish and lacquer are always “open-pore”, to enable the grain relief typical of Oak to be fully appreciated. For Cherry and Walnut veneers, varnish instead creates a smooth finished (closed-pore).
GeD cucine uses “smooth”, 25 mm (20 mm for the Space and Seta models)thick doors, veneered on the front and back with a 1 mm thick edge finish. The fronts have a horizontal grain. For “framed” doors, the solid wood frame is later veneered as the central panel. The fronts of the “framed” doors come with horizontal and vertical grain, depending on the kitchen model.
To clean, use a soft cloth soaked in alcohol diluted in water in the direction of the grain and dry with a non-abrasive cloth. Clean any wine or acid stains immediately and avoid abrasive products or detergents, acetone, trilene, ammonia, chlorine, diluents, furniture wax and polish.

solid ash WOODfor frames - veneered ash on e1 class chipboard panel
frassino massello per i telai - frassino impiallacciato SU PANNELLO LIGNEO classe e1
GeD cucine has always produced framed kitchens which, over the years, led to the “trendy classico” or “classic contemporary” concept.
The frames, entirely made of solid ash wood, are stained or lacquered as the central panels composed of a class E1* wooden panel with 0,6 mm ash wood veneer. All the models and finishes, varnishes and lacquers are “open-pore”, to fully appreciate the typical Ash grains.
For the Luxury model, after varnishing, beeswax is applied to the door to give a shiny and “soft” to touch effect. For the Settecento model, varnishing includes an aged effect to emphasise the wood grain and complement the wood. For the Kate and Gioiosa models, before lacquering, the doors are brushed to fully appreciate the grain relief typical of Ash.
Since we are dealing with wood, you need to use a soft cloth soaked in alcohol diluted in water in the direction of the grain and dry with a non-abrasive cloth. Clean any wine or acid stains immediately and avoid abrasive products or detergents, acetone, trilene, ammonia, chlorine, diluents, furniture wax and polish.

ceramic surfaces & lacquered and materic glasseson aluminium frame door
superfici ceramiche & vetri laccati e matericiSU ante a telaio in alluminio
Following the success of Velvet Profile I with glass doors on an aluminium frame, GeD cucine proposes a new variety with a ceramic front.
Porcelain ceramic is used, obtained through wet grinding of clay, granite and metamorphic rock and ceramic pigments. Compact and sintered at 1200° C, it has a single-calibre squared edge with fibreglass structural reinforcement applied on glass, guaranteeing resistance against knocks.
The four varieties in the Blend collection are inspired by the cement effect whose spotted design give a particular full-empty visual effect. The surface is therefore extremely tactile, but not rough and therefore easy to clean. The 2 varieties in the Oxide collection reproduce oxidised metal to give a “vintage” effect. The layering process gives particular tactile and chromatic depth, creating innovative three-dimensional effects.
These surfaces perfectly resist solvents, scratches and deep abrasion. Since there is no organic content, it is fire and high temperature resistant and, in the event of a fire, does not release toxic substances. The ceramic surfaces are totally compatible with food since they do not release elements in solution and do not allow mould, bacteria or fungus to grow, making it an ideal material for use in the kitchen.
To clean, use a soft cloth soaked with degreasers or neutral detergents.Avoid all abrasive products or detergents, acetone, trilene, ammonia, chlorine, diluents, furniture wax and polish.
For the characteristics and descriptions of the lacquered glasses > page 108

Lacquered doors by GeD cucine, characterised by their uniformity, intensity and variety of colours, are made using a varnishing cycle on 20 mm MDF panels (for Space and Seta models) and 25 mm (for the Velvet program), in 25 colours with an opaque and gloss brushed fi nish, as well as any RAL colours on request.
The rough MDF panel is painted with a polyester varnish base and sanded to obtain a perfectly smooth fi nish ready for lacquering.Opaque fi nishes are then lacquered and fi nally dried in a monitored environment. For a gloss fi nish, after lacquering, proceed to sand; the door is sanded multiple times with increasingly fi ne grains. It concludes with surface brushing to obtain the right shine.Lacquering is also on the back and on the edges of the door.
Lacquered surfaces have excellent resistance to water and heat and, in particular, the opaque variety has good resistance to scratches.Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and heat sources to avoid colour variations over time.
Wash using a soft cloth soaked in alcohol diluted in plenty of water and dry with a soft and dry cloth. Clean wine or acid stains immediately. Avoid all abrasive products or detergents, acetone, trilene, ammonia, chlorine, diluents, furniture wax and polish.
Evitare tutti i prodotti o detersivi abrasivi e/o contenenti acetone, trielina, ammoniaca, cloro, diluenti, cere e lucidi per mobili.

materic lacqueredon mdf panel
laccati MATERICISU pannello in mdf
Materic lacquered are the new kitchens by GeD cucine combining the quality and characteristics of traditional lacquer with particular materic and three-dimensional effects.
The effects are created using a special varnishing cycle on 25 mm MDF panels which, thanks to their particular production features, provide an excellent solution to chemical-physical stress, as well as light variations. The manual process using scrapers and the finishes give these panels a unique result: each door is a unique and unrepeatable piece, without losing the overall harmony and final effect.
For the cement effect, the work cycle combines the use of adhesive on the MDF support with the resin manually applied with a scraper in multiple steps. For the Corten effect, the work cycle combines the use of a base metallic varnish which is then miscellaneously sanded by hand. The next application of coloured varnish (from yellow to orange) gives a typical Corten effect. For a steel effect, the varnish cycle combines use of glossy black lacquer with metallic varnish. The light scratches on the surface fully represents the glazed steel effect by exalting light reflection.
Wash using a soft cloth soaked in alcohol diluted in water and dry with a soft cloth. Clean any wine or acid stains immediately and avoid all abrasive products and detergents and/or products containing acetone, trilene, ammonia, chlorine, diluents, furniture wax and polish.

LAMITEChpl laminated on E1 CLASS chipboard panel
laMIteclaminati hpl SU PANNELLO LIGNEO classe e1
LamiTec is a new door by GeD cucine available in 5 gloss and opaque colours combining the quality of laminated HPL and the highly competitive cost.
A 20 mm class E1* wooden panel is covered on two sides with 0,9 mm HPL (High Pressure Laminate) plastic laminate created using cellulose fibres - FSC certified paper - permeated with phenol and melamine resins with an aqueous base. The finished door will then be 22 mm thick. The edge, in 1 mm thick laminated ABS, is applied to the already squared and trimmed panel with hot melt polyurethane glues. We thereby obtain a straight profile, with only the edge smoothed and rounded.
HPL, defined by the standard EN 438/1, are higher quality coatings compared to heat-forming polymers and have exceptional hardness, resistance to scratches and wear, knocks, chemical agents and, above all, fire.
To wash, always use a soft cloth soaked in alcohol diluted in water, liquid detergents or glass detergents and dry with a soft, dry cloth. Clean limescale stains immediately. Avoid using abrasive creams or pads, acetone and chlorine.
1073m - petrol

THERMO-STRUCTURED laminate melamineon CARB-2 class chipboard panel
laminati melaminici TERMOSTRUTTURATISU PANNELLO LIGNEO classe CARB-2
Following the success of the Tranché collection, GeD cucine extended its laminated melamine range by introducing the “Oak” collection in 4 varieties and “Larix” in 6 varieties.
A class CARB-2*, 22 mm thick wooden panel (20 mm for White Oak Tranché and Moka Oak Tranché), is coated in two layers of melamine paper permeated with melamine resin. Following this process, the panel is called “melamine”.The edge, in 1 mm thick laminated ABS, is applied to the squared and trimmed panel with hot melt polyurethane glue.A straight profile is thereby obtained, with on the edge smoothed and rounded.
It is supported by a panel of agglomerates in recycled wood and glue. Since 2010, The Air Resources Board of California (CARB), adopted a new order, already initiated in “phase 2” (CARB-2), which imposes a maximum value of formaldehyde emissions of 0,05 ppm.
Melamine development is increasingly realistic - with a textured surface that simulates wood grain and a tactile surface - with elevated resistance to scratches and solvents, making these surfaces suitable for kitchen furniture manufacturing, where the objective is to optimise the quality/price ratio.
Cleaning with a soft cloth soaked in liquid detergent or non-abrasive detergent diluted in water. Clean limescale, wine or acid stains immediately. Avoid using abrasive creams, pads, acetone and chlorine.

marbles and Granitesth. 20 | 30 | 40 | 60 mm
marmi e granitisp. 20 | 30 | 40 | 60 mm
Marble is a 100% natural material, as well as a metamorphic rock mainly composed of calcium carbonate. The presence of mineral impurities inside the original sedimentary rock determines its colour. White marble is the result of limestone metamorphosis free of impurities.
Cut with “diamond” saws or with pressurised water technology (HydroJet), it can be worked in fl at slabs measuring over 1 cm thick. Slabs under this thickness would be too fragile, not strong enough to resist bending and cutting forces and not pass the working phases without cracking or breaking.Since this material is porous, it tends to absorb oily substances; this is why it is sometimes exposed to specifi c protective treatments.
GeD cucine uses polished and sanded, fl amed and aged marble.Flaming is a process involving thermal shock that causes the surface of the slab to explode, bringing out the natural colour and giving a certain roughness. Aging is a technique used to give the surface of the slab a worn appearance. The process is executed using abrasive brushes applied to sanding machinery. An irregular, but unpolished, surface is achieved.
Wash marble using a damp cloth or non-aggressive detergents. Dry with a soft cloth immediately. Clean cola, lemon, wine, vinegar, coff ee, spinach and chicory stains immediately. Avoid abrasive, acid or solvent-containing products.
GeD cucine utilizza marmi lucidati e levigati, fi ammati e anticati.
Evitare i prodotti abrasivi, acidi o contenenti solventi.

quartz agglomeratesth. 20 | 40 | 60 mm
Agglomerati di quarzisp. 20 | 40 | 60 mm
Quartz agglomerates, often called quartz composites, are obtained by vacuum vibro-compression of broken natural quartz mixed at the highest pressure and temperature with a structural polyester resin, with a concentration ranging from 6% to 8% depending on the manufacturer. Based on the aesthetic characteristics to obtain the finished product, the following can be added: organic, inorganic colouring and various elements such as glass, mirror, mother of pearl and metallic silicon.
Thanks to this production system, capable of generating large sized slabs in variable thicknesses, a compound is obtained with superior technical characteristics compared to the original raw materials. The slabs are free of defects, breakages and cracks typical of marble and natural stone, do not absorb liquids (no imbibition) and have higher resistance to abrasion and knocks. The high resistance to dry heat (140 C°), to electric shock, acids and the hygienic features of the materials in contact with food, make quartz agglomerates particularly suitable for kitchen worktops.
GeD cucine only uses quartz agglomerate worktops that are safe for man and the environment and suitable for domestic use and foodstuff distribution certified Greenguard and NSF.Other certificates are indicated by the individual manufacturers.
To clean and maintain quartz agglomerate worktops, use a soft cloth soaked in alcohol diluted with water.Follow the instructions provided by the individual manufacturers based on the type of surface.

Glass is one of the oldest materials produced by man and glass manufactured pieces have been around since the III millennium b.C.
Essentially made from silicon derivatives, glass is very hard and therefore difficult to scratch, unless using tools harder than it (for example knives with ceramic blades).Since it is an inert material, it does not cause chemical reactions and, since it does not absorb food odours, it does not impact on the aroma of the food with which it comes in contact. It resists high temperatures and thermal shock and this makes it an ideal material for kitchen projects.
For the doors, GeD cucine only uses tempered, glossy and satinated glass mounted on an aluminium frame; for worktops, the glass is fixed on a 1 mm stainless steel unit, completely reinforcing it against knocks.Tops are planned in 3 glossy and satinated colours and, only for the Argento Vivo model, another 5 tempered glossy and lacquered glass models at the back are planned to coordinate with the door collection.
Clean using a cloth or sponge with specific cleaning products to clean glass and dry well.Avoid abrasive products and alcohol.

Evitare prodotti o detersivi abrasivi, detergenti in polvere e detersivi contenenti cloro, candeggina o acido muriatico.
Stainless steel is an iron-carbon alloy whose chromium and nickel content, in contact with air, creates an oxide film to protect the surface.GeD cucine uses austenitic stainless steel AISI 304 with 18% chromium and 10% nickel. For this reason they are commonly referred to as “stainless steel 18/10”.
Stainless steel is a recyclable and ecological material. It is highly resistant to corrosion, knocks, stress, heat and if kept properly, will last forever. Furthermore, its easy cleaning and high hygiene coefficient makes it ideal for kitchen worktops, the reason for which all professional kitchens have steel tops installed.
The GeD cucine collection includes satinated stainless steel, Peltrox and Light Peltrox, to guarantee an elegant result both for modern and classic kitchen projects.
Clean using a cloth soaked in warm water and common detergents and dry with a soft cloth. For more stubborn stains, use common products on the market to clean stainless steel, remember to always clean in the direction of the satin finish. Any limescale deposits can be removed with vinegar. Clean grapefruit, cola, salt and coffee stains immediately. Avoid abrasive products or detergents, powder detergents and those containing chlorine, bleach or hydrochloric acid.

compositesth. 12 | 20 | 40 | 60 mm
compositisp. 12 | 20 | 40 | 60 mm
Composite materials are formed with 2/3 aluminium hydroxide (trihydrate) and 1/3 acrylic resin PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate), with the addition of any colour pigmentation. Aluminium hydroxide gives the product excellent mechanical resistance while acrylic resin guarantees hygiene, suitability for contact with foodstuffs, impermeability and colour stability over time, even if exposed to direct sunlight.
The main features of composite tops is that joints between the slabs are invisible and this means they are particularly appreciated in compositions with long worktops and minimalist design projects with sinks made from the same material with a continuous effect.Another important characteristic is that composite material can be restored: scratches are simply eliminated with an abrasive sponge, while any grooves or cracks can be quickly correctly by specialist staff. It resists heat well (approx. 100° C), but saucepan holders should be used to avoid exposing the surface to direct heat, to avoid compromising shine.
Clean using a cloth soaked in water and common detergent and dry with a soft cloth. For more stubborn stains and possible burn marks, treat the surface with a Scotchbrite sponge and a creamy, abrasive detergent, using circular movements. Avoid grease or wax based detergent, caustic detergents, solvents, methyl chloride, acetone and liquids to clean ovens and metals. For other instructions, contact individual manufacturers.

Laminates with unicolor edgeth. 20 | 40 | 60 mm
laminati bordo unicolorsp. 20 | 40 | 60 mm
Laminate worktops are among the most used in kitchens thanks to their excellent quality/price ratio. They can aesthetically imitate natural marble and wood worktops. HPL offers considerable resistance and versatile use.
A class E1* wooden panel is covered with 0,9 mm HPL (High Pressure Laminate) plastic laminate created using cellulose fibres permeated with phenol and melamine resins with an aqueous base. The edge in unicolor laminate, or rather “paste coloured”, measuring 1 mm thick, is applied to the squared and trimmed panel with hot melt polyurethane glue. The characteristic of the unicolor laminate edge is to hide joints between the edge and the surface of the worktop, giving an aesthetic result that reproduces the continuity of stone or natural wood.
Clean using a soft cloth soaked in alcohol diluted in water, liquid detergents or glass detergents and dry with a soft, dry cloth. Remove any limescale stains immediately. Avoid using abrasive creams or pads, acetone and chlorine.
