Product Name: TEQAMID DCP Date of issue:10.09.2012 administer oxygen. Seek immediate medical attention. Skin Contact Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with plenty of

water. Seek medical attention if necessary. Eye Contact Wash out with plenty of water. Get medical attention if any sensations

persist. Ingestion Contact a doctor or the poison information centre immediately. Do not

induce vomiting. Rinse mouth and then give small and frequent amount of water to drink. Transport to a hospital or doctor

5) FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES Flash Point (Method Used) Approx. 194°C Auto-ignition temperature Not Available LEL Not Available UEL Not Available Extinguishing Media Use water spray, dry chemical or foam extinguishing agents. Special Fire Fighting Procedure As in any fire, wear pressure demand self-

contained breathing apparatus (NIOSH approved or equivalent) and full protective gear. Special Fire Fighting Equipment Firefighters should use self-contained breathing

apparatus and full protective clothing. Fire and Explosion Hazards Never use welding or cutting torch on or near drum

(even empty) because product (even just residue) can ignite explosively. Hazardous decomposition/combustion products Thermal decomposition produces

oxides of carbon.

6) ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Personal Precautions The usual precautions for handling chemicals should be

observed. Environmental Precautions Do not allow to flow into drainage system. Procedure for Spill / Leak Clean-up Wear appropriate protective equipment.Contain

spilled material. Transfer to suitably labeled containers. Residues and small spillages may be washed away with water.

7) HANDLING AND STORAGE Handling No special precautions required, but avoid eye and skin contact as part of

normal industrial hygiene. Eye and skin contact should be avoided if handling at elevated temperatures

Storage Store in plastic, plastic lined or stainless steel containers between 20°C and 48°C. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Keep away from oxidizing agents, excessive heat and ignition sources. Do not store or use near heat, spark or flame. Store out of sun.

Other Recommendations Do not mix with other waste chemicals.
