This beautiful mountain is a very unfriendly place. In January the average temperature is – 36C and can go down to – 60C. It is really freezing. In July, the warmest month, the average temperature is – 19C. The Himalayas are the most difficult mountains to climb up. However, more and more people want to go up Everest.

The Alps are a mountain range in Europe. The weather is mild all the year round that is very good for having fun. It is a popular place with tourists, especially for skiing. Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in the Alps. It is 4,807 metres high.
