some previous copies, I was taken by the wideand diverse range of subjects that we have

covered in the past few years.

Spotlight is the magazine designed to provide you with the opportunity toshare your stories and experiences, so please keep providing us withsuch excellent copy! We also love great photos of your schemes, soplease keep those coming as well. Don’t forget that it is free to membersto advertise in the magazine.

It is this time of year when I reflect on 2015 – we ended the year in avery stable financial position and with increased membership. Manythanks to all our members who have remained so supportive and loyal tothe BHA - it is very much appreciated. Particular thanks go to Sponsoringmembers, RWE, Gilkes, Hydroplan and Green Highland who have beenso very supportive, especially with their involvement with the FiT review.I was very pleased with the success of our events and trainingprogramme in 2015 with the Annual Dinner, Summer Forum and AnnualConference all being very well attended.

This is the time of year when many members will have received theirmembership renewal reminder. This is the time when we need yoursupport the most. There are battles ahead we will be fighting, for whichwe will need the biggest army we can muster, so when you are remindedto renew your BHA membership, don’t delay – please just do it.

There are some significant challenges ahead in 2016, which will include;our continued lobbying of DECC to gain clarity and fairness with theoutcome of the FiT review, the prospect of further abstraction reform in
