side of the screen.
Page 6
There are many steps to the application process, from Applicant Information to Check Your Application,
but we will focus on the steps that have caused difficulty in the past.
After completing the Applicant Information screen, be sure to click “Save and Continue” at the bottom
of that screen. That will then take you to:
CAMPUS AND PROGRAM
You must complete the page but the key places to complete are under CAMPUS, PROGRAM AND AREA
OF INTEREST. Similar to when you registered for an account, you will choose the following:
Campus: West Lafayette
Major + Area of Interest = Enrollment Objective. Choose whichever of the following applies:
• Aviation Technology + Aviation Management = MS in Aviation and Aerospace Management
• Building Construction Management + Building Construction Management = MS in Building
Construction Management
• Technology Leadership and Innovation + Industrial Technology = Master of Science
• Technology Leadership and Innovation + Industrial Distribution = Master of Science
• Technology Leadership and Innovation + Biometrics = Master of Science
• Technology + Technology Leadership = Master of Science
• Computer and Information Technology + IT Project Management and Leadership (online-non-
thesis only) = Master of Science

The next several screens are pretty self-explanatory. Continue completing each screen. Two screens
that may cause some confusion are RESUME and STATEMENT OF PURPOSE.

Upload your resume from this screen. Acceptable formats include doc, wpd, rft, xls, pdf, docx, xlsx, and
Mac files so long as the three or four letter extensions are included.

Statement of Purpose

The next screen, which is very important, is Course Delivery.

Course Delivery
For ALL of our programs, regardless if it is weekend or completely online, you will choose “Distance

Recommendations
Although you can download recommendation forms to be filled out and mailed to us, this electronic
process is much easier. Click on the “Recommendation Provider List” button; fill out the required
information for three people, and then recommendation forms will be e-mailed to your choices.

The following screen will appear when clicking on Check Application Status. After recommendations
have been entered, you will be able to click on the Submit button at the top of the page.
