What a Michigan Tech MBA Will Do for YouYou will gain a solid understanding of the key functional business disciplines.

You will appreciate the relationship between business and technology within their social, political, and economic contexts.

You will demonstrate excellent analytical and decision-making skills applying appropriate disciplinary knowledge.

You will be capable of clearly communicating the results of independent business analyses.

Earning a Michigan Tech MBAOur one-year, three-semester program provides students who have earned undergraduate degrees, primarily in the sciences and engineering, with a solid foundation in fundamental business disciplines. In addition, we offer students opportunities to improve their communication skills, learn how to manage technology and innovation, and understand how to manage financially sound and sustainable organizations.

The 36-credit program is designed so that students take eight core business classes during the fall and spring semesters and four elective business classes during the summer.

The MBA program was a great experience. I couldn’t find the perfect job when I graduated with my bachelor’s. Staying an additional year has helped me become more marketable to employers, and I found a great job! Completing this program is a decision I will never regret.

—Cassie Miller, Office Manager, Flatiron Construction Corporation

The additional year spent completing my MBA was well worth it. When applying and interviewing for jobs, I felt like I had an advantage over applicants with only a bachelor’s degree. I received a raise before the start date of my job because my employer recognized the increased value of an MBA degree.
