This program is organised in three full-time years (6 semesters – 40 weeks/year) comprising 180 European Credits (ECTS). The academic content leading to an Academic Master Degree will be 110 ECTS, including the Research Presentation. The Speciality Certificate can only be obtained after completing both the Academic Degree and the required clinical training and achievement of competences and proficiencies (70 ECTS). Both the Academic Degree and the Speciality Certificate are inter-linked in such a manner that one cannot be obtained without the other.

Achievement of competences and proficiencies in advanced periodontics and surgical implant dentistry is our main objective, but this must be coupled with developing skills in clinical and basic research, critical thinking and appreciation to the detail and excellence

This is a full-time academic program running from September 15th to July 15th (40 weeks / year; 38 h / week).
Students average clinical performance is about 100 periodontal surgeries (including mucogingival and regenerative) and more than 50 surgical interventions to place dental implants. All clinical cases are planned multidisciplinary with the departments of prosthetics, conservative dentistry and / or orthodontics
FACULTY Teaching staff includes full time, part time and invited teachers. More than 50 teachers and instructors are involved in the didactic and clinical learning process.
