the executive physical program

Typically, an annual physical examination involves a few routine questions and some standard tests.

But the Executive Physical Program (EPP) at Massachusetts General Hospital is hardly typical.

Your EPP examination is remarkably thorough, intended not only to uncover existing medical problems

but also to anticipate and prevent future ones.

> An in-depth and highly personalized health assessment

> Attentive to your total healthcare needs

> A relaxed and unhurried atmosphere

> Appointments scheduled for your utmost convenience

> Backed by the clinical and diagnostic expertise of one of the world’s foremost medical facilities

“until you experience it for yourself, it sounDs like just another health program. you can’t appreciate its benefits until you try it.”

prevention anD Wellness, the pillars of gooD health

The first objective of an EPP exam is to identify any existing medical problems. But equally

important is the early detection of risk factors for disease and other health concerns. This might

include addressing lifestyle factors such as stress, diet, exercise and rest that bear on your

long-term health and wellness.

Whatever issues arise during the exam, there’s ample time to discuss them with your EPP physician.

No rush, no pressure.

Your physician might also recommend additional tests or follow-up appointments. Or you yourself

can request one — a hearing test, an eye exam, a dermatology consultation. The EPP staff will schedule

it without delay, often for that same day.

Detailed results of your exam are forwarded to you in a confidential report, along with

recommendations for future care.
