Saint Joachim’s Knights of ColumbusOnce again, the Knights of Columbus will be having their annual fund-

raiser to support the Turlock Pregnancy and Health Center with the “Baby Bottle Campaign”. The fundraiser starts on Mother’s Day and ends on Fa-ther’s Day (June 20, 2021). The Knights of Columbus and friends will be handing out baby bottles following the Masses this weekend and the next weekend. The support of many makes a difference, and it can help save the lives of the unborn. Thank you!

Confirmation Reconciliation Confirmation reconciliation will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at

6:00 p.m. in the church. This is MANDATORY!

St. Joachim’s 2021-2022 Faith Formation Registration

Faith Formation registrations will be held at the Religious Education Center on the following dates and times:

*May 22, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. *May 24, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. *May 26, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. *May 31, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The cost for registrations is: *First year First Communion/Confirmation Sacraments $40.00 fee (1st

year first communion – need to present a copy of baptism certificate). *Second year First Communion/Confirmation Sacraments $60.00 fee. IMPORTANT: more information is coming soon!

Pentecost Sunday Mass schedule for Pentecost Sunday on May 23, 2021 will remain the same: 9:00 a.m. English Mass 11:00 a.m. Spanish Mass.

Shepherds Field Olive Wood Handcrafts A group from Holy Land will be coming to our parish on May 22-23,

2021 to sell the Olive Wood Crafts from the Holy Land for the benefit of the Catholic families of Holy Land. They will be selling these wood crafts after all masses.

Special Second Collections Announcement Due to COVID-19, the parish will not be conducting special second

collections during our Mass services. However, if you are currently receiving parish offertory envelopes this is a way to contribute towards special second collections. If you would like to contribute but are not receiving offertory envelopes, please call the parish office to register as parishioner and receive your offertory envelopes. Bishop’s Ministry Appeal 2021The theme this year is “Moving Forward in Gratitude & Hope: Together

as One”. If you have yet to make your pledge to our parish’s annual support of the ministries, please consider doing so today. Help us reach our parish goal $17,879.00, if every family participates this year, we will reach and possibly exceed our goal. 2021 Baptism Information

Due to COVID-19 the parish will only be baptizing FOUR children per date. Anyone 3 years and older must wear a facemask. Only a total of 10 family members will be allowed in the baptism ceremony.

-There are no English Baptisms in the month of July, 2021. -English Baptisms are scheduled for the 3rd Saturday of the month.-Requirements: Schedule an appointment to meet with Father Jorge Ar-

boleda (only one parent is required to be present at the appointment). -Baptism fee is set at $50.00 per child. Please call the parish office to obtain further baptism information or to

schedule an appointment to reserve a baptism date.

Campo de los Pastores de Madera de Olivo Artesanías

Un grupo de Tierra Santa vendrá a nuestra parroquia el 22 y 23 de mayo de 2021 para vender Artesanías de Madera de Olivo de Tierra Santa en ben-eficio de las familias Católicas de Tierra Santa. Venderán estas artesanías de madera después de todas las misas.

Información para Bautismos 2021Debido a COVID-19, la parroquia solamente estará bautizando a CUA-

TRO niños por fecha. Todos mayores de 3 años deben usar su cubre bocas. Sólo un total de 10 familiares estarán permitidos en la ceremonia de bautizo.

-Los bautismos en español están programados para el 2do sábado del mes.

-Requisitos: Programar una cita para reunirse con el Padre Jorge Arbo-leda (solo se requiere que uno de los padres esté presente en la cita). -La cuota para bautismos es de $50.00 por niño(a).

Caballeros de Colón de San JoaquínUna vez más, Caballeros de Colón tendrá su recaudación de fondos

anual para apoyar al Centro de Salud y Embarazo de Turlock con la “Cam-paña de Biberones”. La recaudación de fondos comienza el Día de la Madre y termina el Día del Padre (20 de junio de 2021). Caballeros de Colón y sus amigos repartirán biberones después de las misas este fin de semana y el próximo. El apoyo de muchos hace una diferencia y puede ayudar a salvar la vida de los no nacidos. ¡Gracias!
