St. Michael’s Catholic Women are forming a group called St. Michael’s Visiting Angels. We will be visiting our shut-in and homebound members monthly. If you are interested in participating in this ministry, please call Lynda Molinaro at 304-295-5088 or Genvieve Khalil at 304-295-7464. Al-so, if you know of anyone who is sick or hospital-ized and wants a visit, please call us.

Bishop Bransfield has asked us once again to take up a special collection on October 21-22, for the vic-tims of Hurricane Irma
that devastated the Caribbean islands. There will be envelopes in the back of the church to use. Please put your envelope number and name on the envelope to be credited to your account. Your gen-erosity is greatly appreciated.
Parish School of Religion: For the month of October we will be focusing on Prayer – what it means to have a conversation with God. This week talk with your family on the importance of prayer in your own life. We have a PSR Mass on Oct 29 at 9 am. All students in grades K-8 should be at the Church by 8:45. St. Michael Youth Group (Grades 9-12): Meeting Sunday night at 6 pm at the Church. A big thank you to
everyone that helped out at the Spaghetti Dinner. The Men’s group was very appreciative.

St. Michael Women’s Study Group: The Friday morning group continues this Friday from 9 – 11 am. We are using a study on the Holy Spirit – The Wild Goose. The segment this week is Fruits of the Spirit. Come join us for any or all of the sessions
October 26th, 2017, 7:00 PM Joint Service of Prayer for the Lutheran-Catholic Commemoration of the Reformation (LARC) at Christ Lu-theran Church 4513 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, WV 26105 (Corner or 46th Street & Grand Central Ave.). Father John Gallagher, St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Vienna and Rev. Emilie E. Theobald-Rowlands, Christ Lutheran Church, Vienna, will participate in this special service. A time of fellowship will follow the service. Father John will not have Mass at St. Michael that evening.

The Book of Intercessions is on the Intention Podium through All Saints Day, November 1st. Book will then be placed on the altar for All Souls/All Saints Days masses.

St. Michael’s Men’s Group made $736.00 profit on the Spaghetti Din-ner and would like to thank all who participated.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness As the Flu and allergy season is upon us please utilize the Hand Sanitizer in the Vesti-bule. Together we can keep our congregation healthy throughout the winter season.
