This is a magazine interview with Alex just as he was breaking into the music industry.

Alex is relaxed and laying back on the sofa, with a beer in his hand and food all around him. This show Alex is extremely chilled and laid back. This suggests you can lay about but still be successful in life with the hard effort.

He is dressed in very smart casual clothing with smart shoes and a hat. He has a large beard to show is age and maturity.

His chilled and stress free behavior shows he is clearly happy with him self and is not bothered how others with perceive this laid back attitude

Alex is not looking at the camera in the shot, his laughing and has his feet on the sofa suggesting he’s “just one of the boys”

I think what Alex is trying to say from this photo is that he us just normal guy who has broken out into the music industry. He’s not trying to be anything he's not. He is trying to stay the same person throughout his experiences.

The picture of Alex takes up half of the page making it very obvious the main focus is on him. Although the title and article are large there are not in the main view and are not as eye catching as the large photo in the centre of the page. This shows the audience show who he is by appearance
