Marzipan Prep time: 5 minutes Total time: 5 minutes Makes about 12 ounces Ingredients 1 ½ cups almond flour/meal (blanch and grind almonds yourself or buy almond meal) 1 ½ cups powdered sugar 2 teaspoons pure almond extract 1 teaspoon rose water 1 egg white Instructions 1. Place the almond flour and powdered sugar in a food processor and pulse until combined (lumps broken up). Add the almond extract and rose water and pulse to combine. Add the egg white and process until thick dough is formed. Turn the almond marzipan out onto a work surface and knead it a few times. Roll it into a small log, wrap it up with plastic wrap and refrigerate. 2. It will keep in the refrigerator for at least a month or in freezer about 6 months.
