I am pleased to be writing this recommendation on behalf of Sharon O’Brien, who has worked with me and been our team’s Executive Assistant for the past four years. Sharon has been an unbelievable asset to our enterprise – and has successfully navigated a demanding work place.

Sharon has managed my calendar and my travel – neither an easy feat (I flew over 150,000 miles last year) nor one that can be executed within the bounds of nine to five day (many of my trips are last-second client meetings and follow-ups). Sharon always provided me with a clean itinerary, and learned how I preferred to travel (i.e., early morning flights are always my preference so I can have time at home). Sharon also organized and managed my expenses – and was quite good at getting on me if I had let more than two weeks go by without submitting receipts.

Sharon also supported our sales team – everything from pulling together presentations and researching potential partner school districts to setting up appointments for our reps in targeted territories. Sharon is amazing at all of these tasks – and has been able to reliably secure important meetings and provide reps with the correct collateral at the right time.

Sharon also planned and managed our telecom accounts and our annual meetings. Sharon knows how to work a budget – and always delivered these services in a professional way and under-budget.

Finally, and maybe most important to me, is Sharon herself – her maturity, professionalism and positive attitude. Sharon has tremendous EQ – and it served her well as she supported the sales reps, a group of talented folks who, at times, behave like divos and divas. Sharon knew precisely how to help them – earning their trust and unflagging support.
