RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Carsten’s: Consistent top 10 national performer selling medical records systems, capital medical equipment,
medication handling systems, nursing station design and ancillary record keeping supplies. Sales process involved
working with numerous departments in the hospital, not limited to: emergency medicine, nursing, nutrition, out-patient,
surgical, bio-engineering, pharmacy, facilities and IT.
Carsten’s: Sold both direct and through established distributors. The buying process involved working with CFOs and
hospital procurement, which often involved responding to a formal request for proposal (RFP) processes. Worked with
IPOs and GPOs when selling to law enforcement and government agencies.
Carsten’s: Customers spent a lot of time developing forms for various patient activities that needed to be approved by
their forms committee, which slowed down the sales process. I proposed a process to offer online, customizable
templates through the corporate website at no cost to the customer as long as they purchased our Cardex system. The
result was faster project turnaround and a 30% increase in Cardex system sales.
Carsten’s: Worked with facilities staff and management to develop and execute an implementation strategy beyond
what Carsten’s offered to facilitate installation, generating strong customer loyalty, referrals and repeat business.
Sheffield Medical: Worked to re-establish relationships with territory distributors in eastern NY and increase sales
through end-user product demonstrations for capital medical equipment and supplies.
