Baca, CWK, CRP, LPCC Utilizing Applied Kinesiology and other Holistic modalities to address issues with anxiety, depression, and trauma A Note from Mary - All too many individuals suffer with anxiety and depression. Likewise many have experienced trauma. While it is well known that these mental conditions also affect the body, people are less informed about their options outside the arena of Western approaches. Utilizing Applied Kinesiology and other Holistic modalities to address Issues with anxiety, depression, and trauma can be very helpful. These alternative approaches give people options to address their mental health concerns. Primary emphasis will be placed on Kinesiology, as that is a modality I'm certified in. However, working with a Team of practitioners allows me the opportunity to be familiar with other modalities and their uses as well. I have two businesses - Odyssey Counseling and Resilience integrative Services, and I've been in the helping profession for 30 years. Until 10 years ago I worked full time for various agencies while maintaining a private practice. In 2013 I received a certification in Applied Kinesiology, and not only did it expand the way I addressed my own healthcare but it also changed my life. Upon receiving my certification I expanded Resilience into what today is a complete Holistic Practice. I have a Team of Practitioners in Albuquerque,

I have a Team of Practitioners in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and newly forming teams in New Orleans, San Antonio, and Dallas Texas. Some areas I specialize in are trauma, anxiety, and depression. Before I became certified in Kinesiology and newly certified as a Reiki Practitioner, I'd refer clients to their Primary Care Providers or Psychiatrists when they needed further assistance with these conditions. Because of my current level of training I can address these issues holistically by assessing what's going on with their bodies. Then I develop a regimen that will address those conditions. I coordinate care whenever possible, and I see this as the ideal scenario for my clients.
