Children who are 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2011, through fifth-graders are invited for singing, ring- ing, music making, recreation, treats and splash day! Camp meets from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Lunch is provided each day. There will be optional afternoon activities for third- through fifth-graders from 12:30-2:30. The cost for these optional afternoon activities is $5 per day. Splash day is Friday. We will visit Tyler Tennis and Swim (320 Shiloh Road) from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Cost is $5 per guest. Children must have their own adult supervision and may be required to take a swim test. We are pleased to announce that all of our pas-tors have been reassigned to Marvin for the next year.

CHILDREN Explore East Texas Day Camp will be from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Aug. 1-4. Second- through fifth-graders will visit some favorite East Texas attractions.

SIZZLIN’ SUMMER MISSIONS Sizzlin’ Summer Missions will be from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Wednesdays in July. We will also have a family mission night at the East Texas Food Bank from 5:30-7:30 on the first Tuesday of each month.

CONGREGATIONAL CARE We are organizing a team of people mover driv-ers to pick up seniors at Meadow Lake and Atria Willow Park retirement homes in time for Sunday School and return them after the 11 o’clock ser-vices.

HOMEBOUND We need you to visit homebound members. Would you consider donating one hour a month to visit a lonely senior Marvin member no longer able to attend worship services? Contact Rev. Gerry Giles for information.

MEN Monday Morning Men's Group meets from 6:30-7:30 a.m. in the Wesley Missions Center. Come at 6 a.m. for donuts and fellowship.

Tuesday Morning Men's Bible Study is taking a summer break.

Wednesday Laymen’s Lunch meets at 11:30 a.m. Come for lunch and a devotional in Pirtle Hall.

MISSIONS Do you have a loved one serving overseas? The Military Care Committee wants contact infor-mation for soldiers serving overseas for our mail-ing list. ST PAUL NEEDS CLOTHING St. Paul Children’s Foundation urgently needs clothing! They can use all sizes to share through their clothes closet. Please take your donations directly to the Foundation at 1358 E. Richards (located next to St. Paul’s UMC). For more infor-mation, call SPCF (903.531.9455).

UMCOR MISSION TRIP The Marvin Missions Team will sponsor a six-day trip to the UMCOR Sager-Brown in Baldwin, Louisi-ana, Oct. 16-21 (Sunday-Friday). Our team will work in the 48,000-square-foot warehouse receiv-ing, sorting, packing and shipping supplies for dis-aster relief around the world. The cost for this trip is $300 if you want to ride on the church people mover or $235 if you want to take your own vehi-cle. Only 15 spots are available and a $100 de-posit will hold your space. WOMEN Register now for the Summer Soul Series. Session two, Heaven is for Real, will meet from 6-8:30 p.m. July 12. The final session, Opening Your Heart and Home, is Aug. 2. Register on the web site or in the Welcome Center.

LADIES’ NIGHT OUT Join us for a ladies’ night out at 7 p.m. July 22 in Herd Auditorium. Get away, indulge in a choco-late buffet and hear fun, vibrant and dynamic Andrea Chevalier speak on “Relationships are Everything.” Bring your friends, as long as they are 16 or older. No guys allowed. Child care will be provided. Cost is $10. Make reservations by July 15 in the Welcome Center or on the web site.
