About The theme I wanted to convey in my book was life in its different aspects from tranquility to horror. When I first was responding to the prompts in my writing a repeated pattern kept occurring, I constantly wrote about my personal experiences and related them to life lesion. The visuals were based on some experience that had recently happened to me and influ-enced my prompts heavily. My favorite prompt was the compassion between isolation and solitude it allowed me to think about the tow and how they differ. It allowed me to write and explore my personal beliefs to these two. While my favorite materials for the project was the charcoal and water color, Although these mediums are quite common I never really experimented with them, it was a nice change of pace to explore these two. I took risk in my photo’s I used a macro lens on a rainy day to try to capture some of the beauty the rain has to offer in its dark gloomy weather. This shows a lot in my art work because my themes usually tend to be dark or have an eye in it.
