TWO BIBLE CAMPS LATER...

I haven’t preached at a Bible camp in a few years, and last month Ihad the honor of preaching at two! It was my first time visiting bothcamps, so it was a special treat to see how God is using theseministries in their specific part of the country.

First, Katie and I went toGod’s Adventure Camp inRoulette, PA. So glad shecould go. We had a great time! It was an all girls week, ages7 to 18. It’s the first time we’vebeen to a camp that used thatformat, and I must say, it wasquite effective. The weekbefore was an all boys week. I was personally encouragedby the camp director, BruceGreene, his family, and theirsacrifice to see this campcontinue reaching youngpeople for Christ. I alsoappreciated the camp staff. My heart aches for the highpercentage of broken homesrepresented by these girls. Although we didn’t have anypublic professions of faith thisweek, many spiritual decisions

were made, and we continueto pray for the souls of others. If you love Bible campministries, I’d encourage youto consider seeing how youcould be a blessing to thiscamp. They have manyprojects that need to befinished, but they're only doingthings as the Lord provides.

Next, I flew to Jackson Hole,WY, then traveled to Pinedalefor a Jr. week at Red Cliff BibleCamp. Wow! What an awesomeplace that is. The first day I saw7 moose! Never saw a moosebefore. God’s creation istruly amazing! I believe there were around49 campers. Dean Loftus, thecamp director, and his familywere also a big encouragement.The staff did a great job at theirindividual responsibilities. The camp began in 1974 and

it continues to reach youngpeople for Christ out west.Many campers came from asfar as 10 hours away! We had around 4-5professions of faith, andmany spiritual decisions tosurrender to God’s leading. I wish I could’ve taken myfamily out to this camp. Theywould’ve truly enjoyed it. Oh, and I think every campshould have a coffee/sodashop like this one! Cookies &Cream Frappuccino with ashot of espresso. YUMMO!

NEW THEME VERSE FOR FLASHLITE FLIX

A friend told me recently that she was praying for our ministry andexcited about the upcoming film VAPOR. She believes this type ofministry is needed. Somewhere in the conversation I said, "I reallyjust want to get out of the way and let God control the whole project."That reminded her of a Scripture verse, and she shared it with me.

Psalm 115:1 “Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto Thy namegive glory, for Thy mercy, and for Thy truth’s sake.”

Wow! That is the perfect verse to claim for all the films we produceas well as all other films produced for Mr.E TV. We want all the gloryto go to God and not to us. That way the viewer will see and knowGod’s mercy and His truth. This is why we do not want any creditsdirectly on any Flashlite Flix films. We may allow for film companiesto put their logo or animation at the front end like many movies do.But no personal credits. This way we can say, “Not unto us, O LORD,not unto us, but unto Thy name give glory.” The credits will besupplied on the website as a separate link should anyone want toknow who was involved. I have since put a simple tune to this verse, and my daughters and Ihope to record it soon, and make it available for download.
