Eucharist. In him we are lifted up to the Father, a living sacrifice of praise.

CHRISTMAS DECORATION COLLECTION Every year we try to outdo ourselves in decorating the church for Christmas, but we need your help. Next weekend, December 1st & 2nd, we take up our annual Christmas Decoration Collection.
Envelopes are in your box and available at the doors of the church. We thank you for helping make St. Clement a place of beauty for our Saviour’s birthday.
FIRST CONFESSION – FAMILY CATECHESIS EVENING Parents with children in our First Confession Programme are reminded of
Family Catechesis Evening on
Monday, November 26th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Spend this hour with your children, and experience with them the power of God’s reconciling love.
ST. CLEMENT SCHOOL BLESSING On Tuesday, November 27th, the staff and students of St. Clement Catholic School will celebrate the “official” opening of their newly constructed addition. They will welcome members of the Catholic School Board, elected officials and friends at 1:00 p.m. to thank all those involved in the planning and construction. Monsignor Zimmer will conclude the programme with a solemn blessing of the new wing. Jubilate Deo!
HOLLY TEA & BAKE SALE Once again this year our neighbours at Bloordale United Church (just across Bloor Street) invite us to their Holly Tea and Bake Sale. Saturday, December 1st from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. Enjoy tea or coffee with scones, whipped cream and jam. Just $7:00 per person. You can also pick up some delectable treats at the Bake Table. Yum!
CAMPAIGN LIFE CHRISTMAS CAKES Campaign Life Christmas Cakes will be available for sale next weekend, December 1st & 2nd. These delicious cakes are made by the Trappist Monks of Val Notre Dame Abbey in Quebec. They are sold by Campaign Life in aid of

STEWARDSHIP THOUGHTS BY CARDINAL COLLINS
A Continuing Series
The prospect of the return of the Master should fill Christians with joy: we wait in joyful hope for the coming of our Saviour Jesus Christ. Our liturgy is filled with references to the coming of the Lord, though we hear of it so often that we don’t take it seriously. But Jesus will come at the end of time, whenever that will be, and each of us will stand before the Lord at the end of our life to give an account of our stewardship. We need to be ready. Only the right use of time, talent and treasure which have been entrusted to us will allow us to serenely and joyfully await the coming of the Lord.
THE SEASON OF ADVENT AWAITS Next weekend we enter the Advent Season. The four weeks before Christmas invite us to step aside from the mad rush of secular Christmas events. As believing Christians, we are invited to ponder God’s plan for the salvation of the world. Together
we listen to the promises he made to our ancestors and look to the birthday of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
TIME TO UNPACK THE WREATH December 2nd is the First Sunday of Advent. Take a few moments this coming week to unpack the family Advent Wreath and ready it for daily use. All you need is a circle of greens and four candles, three purple and one pink. As the candles burn away, over the four weeks of Advent, they remind us to open our minds and hearts to Jesus
