To Whom It May Concern:

I am happy to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Marsha Pendilton. Marsha is an active student leader and athlete at DePaul University. She has the dedication; work ethic, communication skills and character that make her the ideal candidate for an internship opportunity with the 2015 College World Series.

I have known Marsha since her first year on DePaul’s campus and since that time she has been a dedicated student, leader and community member on the DePaul campus. She has a creative mind and contributes her positive energy to whatever she is involved in. I also had the fortunate opportunity to be her instructor in a Business Communication course. During that time, she was actively engaged and was able to communicate her athletic experiences as relevant classroom examples for discussion.

Through her participation as a student athlete Marsha has developed leadership skills, among her various character defining experiences, she has exemplified what a student scholar should be within a learning environment. Marsha has shown the skill and determination to balance her academics with the rigors of Big East competitive sports and her other co-curricular involvement on campus which will translate into

It is for the above reasons that I highly recommend Marsha Pendleton for an internship opportunity with the 2015 College World Series. If you should have any further questions or concerns about Marsha’s maturity or ability to succeed, please contact me at your convenience at [email protected] or (619) 594-3617.

Sincerely,
