I want a meaningful marriage!
“What’s love got to do with it?”
“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud,
abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
- 2 Timothy 3:1-4
…without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control,
brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than
lovers of God”
- 2 Timothy 3:1-4
The presence of GOD is the presence
of LOVE.
“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love.
Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.”
- 1 John 4:16
“We love because he first loved us.”
- 1 John 4:19
The presence of GOD is the presence
of LOVE.
God’s love LASTS.
“The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: ‘I have loved you with
an everlasting love.’”
- Jeremiah 31:3
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
- Psalm 107:1
God’s love LASTS.
God’s love NEVER fails.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it
keeps no record of wrongs.
- 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always
hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
God’s love NEVER fails.
What’s love got to do with it?
