Seller InsightMaronap is very special to me, it was built by my parents who worked really hard and loved the setting and location. It’s a discreet, secluded, tucked away spot with a high level

of privacy. It’s still as quiet and as restful as it was when my parents lived here. It’s a lovely sunny home, with sun at the front of the house in the morning moving around to the patio area in the afternoon. The nice big windows and open living areas give it a light and airy feel, we’ve kept the walls white too so it’s nice and bright – even on a dull day. The main living spaces look over the garden. It’s mainly lawn, so it’s easy to maintain and is very restful to look out over, it’s also fully enclosed so it’s safe for children and pets. I really love the location as I enjoy nothing more than being up on the moors – a quick 3-minute drive and I can be on open moorland with the dog! Lustleigh, Bovey Tracey, and walks at Parke or Yarner are also just a few minutes away, it’s a really handy place to live whilst still having a rural feel. It’s time for me to move on now and let someone put their own stamp on Mum and Dad’s design, it’s got lots of potential to extend if necessary. I really hope that the new owners enjoy living here at Maronap and make the most of the area as I have done.”*

Step insideMaronap

This well design bungalow was built well and arranged with living accommodation that flows really well and takes advantage of the location. As you go in through the front door, you’ll find the utility room and access to the double garage on the right and accommodation to the left. There is a bathroom which serves as a cloakroom and extra bathroom for the bedrooms. Going along the hallway, the kitchen is on the left which has nice big windows overlooking the garden - a perfect spot to do the washing up! You can access the dining room from the kitchen, although there is a door from the hall too. It also has a big window looking over the garden and an opening into the spacious living room. The living room is a great size at xxxxx. It is flooded with light thanks to the two large windows and sliding glazed doors to the garden which are perfect to leave open in warm weather. For the winter time, there’s a wood burner installed, to create a cosy space. The bedrooms are to the back of the property and get the late afternoon sun. There are three double bedrooms, the master of which has built in wardrobes and a view over the side of the garden towards the pool area. The bedrooms have use of two bathrooms.

Step outsideMaronap

This home is as much about the outside as it is the inside, the driveway sweeps in to reveal a wide and open plot, far larger than you would expect. Thanks to the mature hedging and gently sloping site, there is a really private feel and lovely outlook. The garden is extensively lawned, with tasteful planting, and trees. To the far side of the plot there is a raised area incorporating an outdoor, heated swimming pool, there is plenty of space around the pool for patio furniture and the area is walled, so it is nicely protected and a bit of a sun trap!
