Marlon Davis Sociology “As the image of myself becomes sharper in my brain and more precious, I feel less afraid that someone else will erase me by denying me love.” -Jenny Slate Marlon Davis was born and raised in San Antonio. After almost completing a degree in biology, he withdrew from the University of North Texas to concentrate his efforts in a field that he found both personally and professionally meaningful –sociology. Marlon is a community organizer and activist striving to elevate the voices of marginalized identities in their struggle for justice. He has worked extensively for tenant's rights, housing justice, and the Hays Street Bridge Restoration group. Marlon will graduate from SAC in the Spring of 2020 with an associate degree in sociology. He plans on transferring to the University of Texas - San Antonio to pursue a bachelor's degree. Marlon wants to use sociology to benefit society and aspires to be a college professor.

Marlon Davis was born and raised in San Antonio.
