Subject: MARK SLADE HUGHES (Letter of Recommendation)

To: Whom it may concern:

I have known Mr. Hughes and his family for most of his life.

Mr. Hughes is an intelligent individual with extreme knowledge of computer programming, repair, networking and all software associated with computers. Electronics of all types of instruments, both downhole and surface equipment, used in the oil and gas industry is no challenge for Mr. Hughes. He is very familiar with the trouble shooting and repair of this equipment and test equipment used to do so.

Mr. Hughes has worked for me as a technician at Drilling Measurements Inc. in Broussard, Louisiana while I was manager of their cased hole and pipe recovery wire line departments. His responsibilities included, but were not limited to, the repair and maintenance of downhole logging tools and surface computers and associated equipment. He also has worked in seismic operations with my brother.

It is my opinion that Mr. Hughes would be a very valuable asset to any company that employs him. His work ethnics and dependability are exceptionable.

The confidence I have in Mr. Hughes and his job performance are immeasurable. He has the keen ability to complete tasks where others have failed to do so due to his knowledge and patience.

What Mr. Hughes does not know about the oil and gas industry can be taught to him easily as he is a fast learner.
