NOTICE TO MORO TOWNSHIP TAXPAYERSValuation date: January 1, 2019Current Median Level of Assessment: 33.33%Publication is hereby made for equalized assessed valuations for real property in this township in accordance with 35 ILCS 200/12-10.Pursuant to 35 ILCS 200/10-115, the Farm Land assessments for the 2019 assessment year will increase by 10% of the preceding year’s median cropped soil productivity index as certified by the Illinois Department of Revenue, with data provided by the Farmland Assessment Technical Advisory Board resulting in a $29.20 per acre increase for each productivity index.Questions about these valuations should be directed to: Chief County Assessment Office 157 N. Main St, Suite 229 Edwardsville, IL 62025 618-692-6270 http://www.co.madison.il.us/departments/chief_county_assesment_office/index.phpOffice hours: M-F 8:30AM-4:30PMProperty in this Township, other than farmland and coal, is to be assessed at a 33.33% median Level of Assessment based on the fair cash value of the property. You may check the accuracy of your assessment by dividing your assessment by the median level of assessment. The resulting value should equal the estimated fair cash value of your property. If the resulting value is greater than the estimated fair cash value of your property, you may be over-assessed. If the resulting value is less than the fair cash value of your property, you may be under-assessed. You may appeal your assessment to the Board of Review. If you believe your property’s fair cash value is incorrect or that the equalized assessed valuation is not uniform with other comparable properties in the same neighborhood, the following steps should be taken:
1. Contact your Township Assessor’s (or, if none, the Chief County Assessment Officer’s) office to review the assessment.
2. If not satisfied with that review, taxpayers may file a complaint with the Madison County Board of Review. For complaint forms, instructions, and the Rules and Procedures of the Board of Review, call (618) 692-6210 or visit www.co.madison.il.us/departments/board_of_review/index.php for more information.
3. The final filing deadline for your township is generally 30 days from this publication date. After this date, the Board of Review is prohibited by law from accepting assessment complaints for properties in this township. For more information on complaint deadlines, call 618-692-6210 or visit www.co.madison.il.us/departments/chief_county_assesment_office/township_publication_date.php
Your property may be eligible for homestead exemptions, which can reduce your property’s taxable assessment. For more information on homestead exemptions, call (618) 692-6210 or visitwww.co.madison.il.us/departments/chief_county_assesment_office/available_exemptions.php Your property tax bill will be calculated as follows:
Final Equalized Assessed Value – Exemptions = Taxable Value;Taxable Value x Current Tax Rate = Total Tax Bill
All values are subject to further equalization and revision by the Madison County Board of Review as well as equalization by the Illinois Department of Revenue.A complete list of assessments for this township for the current assessment year is as follows:OWNER PARCEL PRIOR CURRENTALLEN, NICK T AND MICHAELA H 16-1-03-06-00-000-002. 28,800 43,560 AUTENRIETH, SCHREDA L AND KEVI 16-1-03-19-00-000-028. 66,160 68,820 BAKER, RONALD G AND MITZI R 16-2-03-25-04-403-033. 39,260 48,600 BAKER, SETH R AND KRISTEN L 16-2-03-35-02-201-017. 13,110 12,340 BANDY, CHARLENE A 16-1-03-31-00-000-004.001 28,970 45,570 BARNARD, BERNARD L AND SHIRLEY 16-1-03-23-00-000-001.002 110,510 103,830 BERTELS, IONA MAY 16-2-03-16-01-101-029. 0 30,770 BERTELS, MERLE E AND BETTY G 16-1-03-16-01-101-027. 34,360 32,820 BONDY, GREGORY AND KAREN 16-2-03-35-02-201-007. 270 11,830 BOWE, CHRISTOPHER AND JOAN 16-2-03-36-04-402-026. 121,930 122,530 BRIGHT, RONALD K AND JOYCE A 16-1-03-30-00-000-004.013 49,160 54,210 BURGE, KARI L & HITTMEIER, LE 16-2-03-36-03-304-039. 98,190 92,360 CA JONES INC 16-2-03-35-02-201-029. 270 11,500 CALCATERRA, DANIEL JR & SCHEU 16-2-03-35-02-201-033. 12,220 11,500 CARNEY, DENISE L AND CHRISTOPH 16-1-03-25-00-000-001.004 6,330 52,380 CARTER, CURTIS LEE AND TERESA 16-1-03-18-00-000-012. 35,970 38,570 CHARLES H AND RITA K KASSING J 16-1-03-22-00-000-021.003 127,470 132,330 CHASTEEN, BROK 16-2-03-35-02-201-028. 9,560 11,500 CLARK, ALEXANDRA J 16-2-03-36-02-201-008. 61,170 73,350 COLE, KADE P AND AMBER L 16-1-03-11-00-000-007. 77,170 101,010 CONNORS, DELBERT AND CAROLYN 16-2-03-35-02-201-015. 151,780 151,040 COREY, DANIEL RAY AND TERESA S 16-2-03-36-04-402-007. 85,350 101,710 COTTRELL LIVING TRUST 16-2-03-36-03-304-006. 51,730 51,210 CRADER, STEVEN J 16-2-03-36-03-303-008. 57,060 58,520 CREWS, GREGORY AND KATHY 16-1-03-30-00-000-001.018 60,540 27,570 DARR, SAMUEL G AND LISA L 16-2-03-36-03-304-023. 71,790 76,480 DECLARATION OF TRUST OF TERRI 16-2-03-36-02-204-019. 3,610 73,500 DEEN, JERRY L 16-1-03-15-00-000-013. 4,780 4,500 DELASSUS, LAURA K 16-2-03-36-01-104-013. 2,980 5,920 DEVINE, PATRICK A AND AMY E 16-1-03-18-00-000-029.003 59,590 79,850 DILTZ, SHAUN AND HEATHER 16-2-03-36-03-304-040. 84,980 78,320 DINNIUS, MARISSA A AND CASEY J 16-2-03-35-02-201-018. 270 13,990 DORSEY, BRADLEY A AND BETH A 16-1-03-32-00-000-003.001 8,300 8,600 DOWDY, MARK AND SANDRA 16-2-03-36-02-201-017. 115,620 117,810 EASTMAN, LAWRENCE E AND DIANE 16-2-03-22-02-201-021. 57,390 51,370 EASTMAN, LAWRENCE E AND DIANE 16-2-03-22-02-201-022. 8,180 3,500 EBERHART, DANIEL G 16-1-03-32-00-000-016.001 20,690 41,620 FAULKNER, GERALD E JR AND MARG 16-2-03-08-00-000-014. 60,410 66,360
